What:RR vs SRH, October 22, 2020; 7:30pm IST

Where: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai

What to expect:The wicket seems to be stopping a bit, but it still has a bit for the pacers. The average score seems to be around 160-170, but the role of the bowlers is growing in significance as the tournament is coming to a close.

SRH should bring Jason Holder in the team.

Warner(c)
Bairstow(wkt)
Pandey
Garg
Shankar
Holder
Samad
Rashid
Sandeep
Khaleel
Natarajan

Gives them six bowling options and Samad can play as specialist bat. Holder can be the finisher they need.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have won the toss, and will bowl first.

Rajasthan Royals Team: BA Stokes, RV Uthappa, SV Samson†, SPD Smith*, JC Buttler, R Tewatia, R Parag, JC Archer, S Gopal, AS Rajpoot, Kartik Tyagi

Sunrisers Hyderabad Team: DA Warner*, JM Bairstow†, MK Pandey, PK Garg, V Shankar, Abdul Samad, JO Holder, Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma, T Natarajan, S Nadeem

Shankar looking much more 21st century with this new look.

I’m not sure if these franchises have enough stars left around the world to replace all of the failures and those that are on their last legs as cricketers.

Watson
Dhoni
Smith
Maxwell
Kane
Morgan
Steyn

All look out of place

Watson is still good. He is struggling this season, but he still has the game.
Maxwell is low on confidence.
Kane and Smith are not T20 players.
Steyn is just playing for retirement fund.

Dhoni is just greedy and will not leave unless dropped or kicked out.

Morgan is a brilliant T20 player. Just a bad patch. He should not be in that list.

It’s really an honour for someone like Rajpoot to share the new ball with Archer. Blessings of IPL

I’m genuinely supporting Rajasthan here

These local bowlers better get their act together and support Archer. None of this amateur stuff!

Archer is a world class bowler. I don't understand why he gets so much hate.

Manish Pandey today is batting like Kohli v2.0 which we hoped from him in 2009.

RR bowling is not good enough. Expected better from Tyagi. He was poor today.

One hand u have Archer and then the rest of Indian pace attack..
..LOL literally Zammen Aasman ka fark

Shambolic performance. You have a guy bowling his heart out knocking the wickets of Warner and Bairstow, then you have Tiagi bowling short and wide, full tosses to Manish Pandey who couldn’t see the ball when Archer was bowling to him

Slowly but surely, Ben Stokes and Hardik Pandya need to come to terms with Reality and accept that they are not bowlers.

Tyagi not meant for international cricket it seems....

Sunrisers won by 8 wickets

Manish pandey and Vijay Shankar guiding the team to win with a solid 140 runs partnership :14:

Manish Pandey showed his class. He always belonged to top level.

And the funny part was Vijay Shankar slamming Archer for 3 boundaries in an over.

Don't get fooled by this knock.

He is mediocre with an ability to click big time once in a bluemoon.

Some people are best left alone.

DK, Manish Pandey belong to this category.

You just can't trust them.

Yep, I was impressed by Pandey in NZ though. Batted very well and won us a match as well. But his time is generally over as India has moved on to Iyer as first choice middle order bat and rightly so.

Good backup though for a year or two.

In 2009, we hoped that Virat, Rohit and Manish will lead Indian team in future in all formats.

But here we are in 2020.

SRH are still in contention. They have difficult games left. I don't see them qualifying due to that.

Missed opportunity for RR. Could have won this game and really put pressure on KKR.
