Sure. Fake news is a problem everywhere and there should be laws to deal with it. Understandably, it's a sensitive issue as the question of censorship comes up.

But it's not everyday that you see a major news outlet doing a poll on social media asking whether so and so person should be arrested.

On one hand they are aiganst these freedom of speeches thing in India. But when the same is happening in our own country when it comes to Dawn and Liberals, they infact support the ban and some even advocate for kidnapping such journalists.

It only prroves that for most Pakistanis Kashmir is just an ego battle for us. We just dont wana be left looking bad.

What bans are there in Pakistan? Everyday 100s of channels run talk shows which are just shouting matches of how bad the current government is.

Just yesterday Dawn ran a blatant fake news where they claimed that economic situation that IK inherited was significantly better than what NS inherited, however, people are smart they showed Dawn their own headlines of how bad the economy was even before IK was elected.


If you are talking about pulling of Hamid Mir's show with Asif Zardari then no where in the world a convicted person is allowed to come on the media.

99% of humans behave like that irrespective of their nationality , religious or political affiliation. They have different benchmarks for and against their association. Greater the fan, more prominent the behaviour is.
