Lets list all the injustices Sarfraz Ahmed has committed as a captain.

I will start with these 2 players:

1. Mir Hamza. He is one of the best young bowler in Pakistan domestic FC. Sarfraz Ahmed eventually gave him debut in Pakistan national test team but drop him after only 1 test and now he is dropped from even the Pakistan national test squad for the next test series.

2. Saad Ali. Pakistan middle order continued to fail in tests but Sarfraz Ahmed did not give this promising batsmen Pakistan national test team debut and now he is dropped from even the Pakistan national test squad for the next test series.

Why blame Sarfaraz - isnt the selection committee responsible?

In which middle order spot would Saad Ali have played?

Azhar?
Haaris?
Asad?
Babar?

Remember the former two have scored centuries and not as if they failed.

I understand we lost but let us not go overboard.

Inzimam clearly mentioned that selection committee made the squad after consulting with Sarfraz Ahmed. Both these players were selected by Inzimam but Sarfraz Ahmed gave only 1 chance to one of them and did not give any chance to 2nd one. And now both are dropped from the next squad. So you can see Sarfraz's hand in this.

The energy that was bought in with Fakhar , Faheem , Shadab & Hassan has been overrun by the usual mediocrity , in ideal world the new guys were meant to inspire a change but unfortunately decisions like bringing Hafeez back in the test team & the senior culture meant that we are at square 1 again

PP will be flooded with these comments about injustice, but the people who are supposed to bring changes will remain same as before. No faida in these meaningless discussions.

Sarfaraz Ahmed does not have the kind of imposing personality to inflict injustice upon anyone. He is basically a 'yes' man for Inzi and Mickey.

It's one of the reasons why they don't want Sarfraz out... I imagine the consultation went something like this....

Inzi to Sarfraz.... "Here is the squad for SA"
Sarfraz to Inzi ..... "Ji Inzi bhai"

Inzi then goes to press and announces squad after "consultation" with Sarfraz...

Yep, heard all of this before and no matter who is captain, selector, PCB chairman etc. Pakistan cricket is always a merry go round of the same old faces coming in and out of the team depending on who they are mates with.

It'll probably be Umar Akmal getting ready for a comeback next.

The captain allways has the final authority to add or remove players. I can’t see players being added or removed without Sarfaraz’s approval.

But he is aggressive, and a good talker, we should respect him.

Think this will be happening soon.

That's asads performance in the last two years , you would think in his thirties he would be peaking as an experienced responsible batsman for Pakistan but instead he is struggling like always. Unreliable player still.Screenshot_20181208-120250.jpg

No need to blame Sarfraz becuase the neighbour's cat died?

Non selection of those two is down to that bearded bloke...the coach and skipper only have a 'consultation' role.

But I do believe when it comes to a selection for the final line up the skipper has a bit more of a say...

I dont think Mir Hamza could have played as oppose to Afridi in the last test and the only way Saad was going to play if Azhar opened?

Unlikely in both scenarios.

Totally agree. Understandably, I am witnessing a lot of wrist-slitting going on amongst our Pakistani order but amongst the debris of a series loss we did manage to have some positives.

Harris managed to demonstrate that he has the ability to bat really long test match style innings, and in the future that will come back. Babar has been performing consistently throughout these last 5 tests.

Both Azhar and Asad managed to score their first centuries since the tetirement of MisYou and, yes, more is expected of them but let's not make the mistake of just dropping them in favour of some unproven domestic flat-track built.

They all deserve to be playing the test series in South Africa but I agree it seems harsh for players to be in the tour party, not have opportunity to play a single match, and then get jettisoned for the next series. I have seen this happen so often with Pakistan selectors and is disappointing they have continued in this vein.

3rd victim of injustice by Sarfraz Ahmed:

3. Abid Ali: Abid Ali as an opening batsman is in form of his life. While playing with Pakistan A, he scored 2 50s and 1 100 against New Zealand A and then he scored 2 100s against England Lions. He was abruptly sent back to Pakistan while the series against England Lions was not complete. And yet he scored another 100 when he came back to Pakistan.
But he was not selected in the Pakistan national test squad for the next test series. And instead Imam-ul-Haq was retained who only averaged 14 in test series against New Zealand.

Sarfraz failed to support a deserving player for selection in this case.

Can we really blame PCB when fans themselves are hyping it up for the Akmal jedi to return?

Saad Ali is just another domestic bully!!!! Can't even score 20 against Bangladesh A team.

I woke up this morning went in the bathroom and there was no hot water, i then checked the boiler and it was not working. Must be sarfraz's fault

Classic . Lol
After Misbah the new Gillian of Pak cricket is Sarfraz. Our team's mediocrity for past 20 years is Sarfraz fault. Cannot wait for Rizwan to take up wickwtkweper and then captaincy of Pak team to shoot us to top 3 teams in all formats.

Why cant Pakistan have a captain who is just and make decisions on merit?
