Babar Azam, Saim Ayub dropped as Pakistan announce 15-member squad for 3-match ODI series against Bangladesh

Pak fans have nothing to stand on anymore. Cannot abuse fans of any other team’s fans anymore.

RIP. #Mirpur2026 #NeverForget

It is just a sport. :inti

Not the first time a top 6 team have lost a series in Mirpur. Australia lost 1-4 here. England lost 0-3. India lost 1-2. :inti

Every single Test nation have suffered at least one series defeat in Mirpur.

Foreign fans don’t realize it or maybe they do, but as a ex-Pakistan fan whatever glimmer of hope any Pakistani fan had has now been crushed.

Any thought of showing eyes and bravado to England, Australia or India is now silenced.

They can do that to Netherlands, Kenya, Madagascar and Hong Kong led by Mark Chapman, though.

Today a titan of cricket died and a true minnow was born.

Chop and change the XI as much as you like, it won’t change a darn thang.

I think you need to open another thread ... lol

As a Pakistani fan what was your emotional experience from supporting a team that was arguably one of the three best teams in the world during the 80s and 90s, along with Australia and Windies to a team lower than dirt during the past 20-odd years?

Most Pakistanis and Bangladeshis love and respect each other.

It is Indians who always act in a pesky manner everywhere. They even pretend to be Israelis on social media to spread venom against Palestine.

Sanghis = big losers, scums on the Earth. :inti
Absolutely. I wont be surprised if posters like Bhaijaan pretend to be Pakistani and spread hatred on Bangladeshi forums.

Deserved series defeat after a shocking squad selection.

How can selectors justify picking random domestic players with barely any List A matches to their name ?

I remember seeing Babar come into International cricket with a pretty good technique and over the past 2 years, it seems that he's not had the chance to work on his technique.

That and his ongoing fitness/health issues.

I think he should have been told to work on his game in the nets with good batting coaches like Younis or Yousuf. People who can identify his technical flaws and work with him to rectify it. It's probably too late now as you can't coach someone while he's playing international cricket/t20 leagues non stop.

Mirpur's probably the one chance Bangladesh has of producing a win for themselves. This has happened to all teams. Pakistan went into this series experimenting with new cricketers, some road bumps on the way are natural.
