It's difficult to find soccer threads in TP with so many things :( Also, if fans can enjoy both game together, why feelings can't be shared in a common thread - 90% of active posters are logged in this thread!!! What's point of posting that line in UCL section, which someone might notice after UCL Final!!!!!!

Liverpool to win but the way Roma played against Barcelona; Roma can be a big threat
 
KXI actually has posted a decent total already - 160+ won't be easy here against their spinners, unless it dews heavily.
 
Sundar thambi should try his luck in Tamil movies if ever his cricketing career fades.

Their top 4 is like cracker, but not much depth. KXI has Ash, Axer & Mujib (& Tye); it won't be easy (155 might get blown out also)

The Bangalore pitch has changed a lot man. It was a batting belter earlier, but changes last season. Would be interesting to see what direction it goes. I expect some wickets for the spinners.

MCCullam has become a total hack now. Slogs blindly and gets out easily. Only once every few matches, that hacking works.
 
Is this one off or IPL fielding has been like this, this year!!!
 
Afghanistan churning out impressive spinners.

The impact of star players like Rashid Khan and Nabi is clearly seen on youngsters.

What a ball from Mujeeb! That's an outstanding ball of the hand wrong-un.

I'm actually backing Afghanistan to give India a complete scare, if not upset them when they play their inaugural test in India. In a weird way, the lack of formal coaching has made them tougher to read as both he and Rashid Khan have variations I have seen before to be honest.

Afg has great spin options to threaten opposition. Problem is their terrible batting lineup.
 
The way these two are running, a run-out seems to be in a corner.
 
Though Washington Sundar bowled well he seems like only arm balls in his kit. that angle created the problem for right handers. if batsman twist their stance little bit he'll take in cleaners
 
Havent really been following much. Sinch when did Ashwin started to bowl leggies ?
 
Has KP retired from all form of cricket? Didnt he recently play in PSL? Doing commentary in IPL.

Was he in the auction? I think someone would have picked him for the base price.
 
Pitches has been great in this season so far. Something for the bowlers both fast and spinners.

Good and consistent bounce. So not hell for batsmen either. Score cards have been mostly in 160ish range.
 
Ashwin showing a bit of inexperience as captain, spinners have picked up the wickets and stopped the runs but of the remaining 7 only 1 can be bowled by a spinner and worse 3 will have to be bowled by the north ka Vinay Kumar.

This. Pitches this season are far better than what we usually see in India.
