Are the mid-season transfers ON,in this IPL. I remember reading about it somewhere.KKR could really use a good fast bowler like Basil Thampi

It’s only for uncapped players.Also each teams played at max 4 match so far so couple more weeks to go
 
Short needs to go with Klassen waiting in the wings. RR also has a long tail like RCB. K Gowtham is no way a no 7. Can't understand why IPL teams go with thin batting line up in T20s. Definitely the tail can't start at 7. Archer has to get a game now with KKR being the opposition. Archer can bat too. I will play Binny in place of Kulkarni with Stokes & Binny performing as the 5th bowler.

RR can also open with Buttler and give him a free license to have a go in the powerplay. Tripathi will play in the middle order in that case. Buttler has fared well as an opener in the past. This is a good tactics I think.
 
Klassen should replace Short . Tripatti up to open and Klassen in the middle order. Samson looks brilliant at the moment.


KKR have a good first 11 but lack depth. They can go far if DK captaincy is on the mark and overseas players stay fit.

I'll back KKR to win this one. They have players in form and that spin attack won't be easy to stop.
 
Rahane and Short are joke of an opening pair in T20 cricket. Both are swinging wildly and the ball is barely getting past the infield :))
 
Short is seriously struggling. I read some where that he gets homesick and doesn't like crowds. India is last place he should be if that's true.
 
Short should play on flat pitches. Any surface that supports spin, I would play Klassen. He looks good against spin and can clear the boundaries against spin.
 
Indian fans can be so annoying at times. They want everyone to bat like AB. Rahane has been one of the most successful batsmen in IPL, but the flak he gets is disgusting.
 
Damien Fleming just did a nice analysis on Shivam Mavi's bowling action. Already bowling 145, and Fleming thinks he can get quicker.

It is not even spinning lol. He is basically **** against "spin" bowling it seems. And he got a million in the auction. IPL scouts are a joke.
 
D'arcy can't play spin. They should get Klaasen in next game

Klassen only hit the spinners once the ball was soaking wet. Let's not pretend he's good against spin based on a few balls of hitting a wet sponge of a ball that the spinners couldn't grip.
 
I wanted Mavi to get wickets, but not Samson's wicket.

Samson is still a wonderful talent. He deserves a slot in Indian T20 team as a Keeper Batsman. Heck, I would even play him as a pure batsman ahead of the likes of Pandey and Jadhav.

Problem is that he's not really a lower order slogger. He's best suited to bat #3. That slot is occupied by the King Emperor.

He is not competing with Rabada for place in team KKR. He is comfortably better than Vinay Kumar and thats enough for now.

I won't even consider Vinay a fast bowler.

Here I am least concerned about IPL, I am talking about his future at the international, and I have clearly mentioned it in my post.

Insecure.. now. Calm down. You don’t seem to be happy that we have a good young fast bowler. Thought you really wanted us to have fast bowlers like Pak has produced recently. You were jealous about them. Didn’t you? Now why no appreciation for this young guy.
