Kings XI has slipped out again as usual after doing well in the first half of the tournament! Because they don't have good bowlers... They are somewhat similar to RCB (RCB is even weaker in last 2 years because of problems in batting as well)

Narine may not play again like this (Can get out to a good ball by a good bowler). But he is killing Punjab here...

Suddenly all the wicket-keepers are performing well... Samson, Pant, Kishan, Karthik, Dhoni and even Rahul (Rahul's wicket-keeping skills can actually act against him!)

how KKR lost the review? Umpire changed their decision, it's not wide.. =_=

Kings XI is the new RCB now... Entertaining team, whether they win all the matches or go on to win the trophy or not but they will entertain with the batting... Reason could be the export of Rahul & Gayle!

Apart from the two openers no others in the lineup give any kind of threat to the opposition... CSK, MI, KKR & SRH know how to pick proper playing XI (construct a team) instead of picking random stars! They bat till at least No.7 (SRH may not be such batting heavy, but they have bowling strength), and all other teams have tail starting from No.5 or even higher with poor bowling attack in addition!

Hence I think these 4 teams will make the playoffs to make it competitive & no matches will be one-sided affairs!

Rahul is in form of his life now. Making Rohit Sharma look like a tailender with his brilliant hitting as an opener, especially during the powedplay overs. Hope he continues to carry this form in the next international matches and replaces Rohit as an opener.

Come National Team, Shastri, Kohli & Dhoni all will gather and set their own formulated standards and Rahul will be under immense pressure even in the slightest opportunities he gets... If Rohit is kind hearted (about the team), he will drop down himself at No.4 and play that different role (we actually have an issue in that number) as there is no one else doing it right (relying on Pandey, Jadhav, etc. DK can probably bat at No.6 if he can bat like this...)

Mishra alone can kill RCB on this pitch if the target is above 140. Toss has almost decided 70% of the match's result...

If Pant can get some quick runs it can put immense pressure on RCB batters already while they are fielding...

Captain can get mad about Umesh Yadav! You never know if he can pick you a wicket or go for a flurry of runs... Ideally you don't want him to be in LOI team if you have other better bowlers (India will have him probably as a fourth choice I guess after Bumrah, Bhuvi & Shami. OR rather find other better options still)

Moeen Ali bowled well in his 4 overs. No idea why he hasn't played for RCB earlier this season since their main issue has been with leaking runs.

Rahul is making everyone look like a tailender these days.

Everyone.

Wow! Just love how stylish this kid Abhishek's batting is!

He was the leading run-scorer and leading wicket-taker in the National U-16 tournament by some distance (scoring more runs than Shubhman Gill etc) a couple of years ago.

Pity that he came down the order in U19 WC and did not get as many chances to bat.

Abhishek sharma with his big backlift and effortless timing reminded of yuvraj singh.
Now dd needs to give manjot kalra a chance in next match.

Watching Kohli and ABD bat together is any cricket fan’s dream. Good to see both of them doing well.

I wish ppl would watch kohli and abd to bat it was an absolute treat to any cricket fan. I watch rcb just to see how kohli bats, I loved kohli's expression at the last six from abd. I am thru and thru srh fan so no feelings for rcb.

This is the best IPL I have ever seen. Some of the previous IPLs were boring a bit in the middle of the tournament. This one I enjoyed every single game. Importantly we are not relying on foreign stars this time.

Yep. Gives me goosebumps when I see them playing together. Today’s was absolute masterclass, their batting.
