That looks like a puff piece, it is really ** that he made some sacrifice going to MP, he didn't. Mumbai is a tough team to break into and even tougher to stay, sarfaraz Khan took a similar decision and he was a kid much who was considered sure shot future India cricketer from his school days. In MP team he will have less spotlight and less pressure also lot less competition.

Strategy is definitely present but no plans survive enemy contact and franchises take increasingly desperate decision as their wishlist players are acquired by others.

That's what happens every year in ipl auction some players win lotteries because teams aggressively bids for them & that is only fault I found in player auction method compared to draft system.

Nah he’s good for T20.. Check his last year IPL record. Is good for IPL I won’t agree with 11.5 crore maybe around 5-7 crore but this is what happens in auctions sometimes a player hits the jackpot.. Was Pawan Negi few season ago this year its Jaydev.
