if pakistan lose today they have no possible way of qualifying for the super 8's......thats the real scary thing...
 
This green pitch was made to rock us down, and look at the Irish captain who won the toss and made us bat first.....amazing...batting would make us flying home early
 
i say well get to 120 or 140 something along those lines
but all of you out there who are stying awake the night for this match

Yousuf got out because of his own stupidity.

all others were very good wkt taking balls. Batsmen could have done better but they could not. They were not playing any rash shots just good deliveries.

Different then how we played in WI. Many more outs where we got out on our own fault.

The feeling right now is a lot worse than "not good" with the world cup under threat today. But I am going to look forward to youngsters doing well.

I just realized for me Inzi is pretty much done, he and Woolmer have pretty much lost the world cup it is now up to the youngsters to win a chance at it back, and I am optimistic again.
 
last week the auss selector were saying that pak will lost to irleand and that thing is coming true so far......it look like we will los today it dont matter what ever happened.............
 
I think Pak will get to 270+ if nazir and malik can hang around, the tailenders will slog a few.

one negative thought...


the irish team is made up of some aussies and south africans....they will be used to this type of pitch.....
 
Pak will need atleast 200 to post a challenge...remember the same side got 157 against a topclass South African bowling lineup in the warmup game...& our bowling attack minus Shoaib,Asif,Razzaq is only comparable to Zimbabwe bowling attack!
 
Well at least 4 of the batters havent done anything so it will be up to the lower order....

yesh i mean i was thinking our bowling is going to let us down :|
but here our big three have performed openers looks like loosers and our batting has looked really ordinary :6: we are capable of so much more
 
I can t take this match anymore, i am watching India struggling this is more comforting (-:
 
Can we have less wrist slitting and some score updates pls ?

by hanging around you mean a partenership of 200
 
wides is the 2nd largest score for us.
At least someone is doing the job for Pak :D

this team deserves not to qualify for the Super 8 stage & bring more disgrace to Pakistan cricket..if we wont loose today then we should loose against Zim....i just dont want Pakistan to get thrashed by all 6 teams in Super 8 stage ..its better to not qualify for the next round!

Man how I wish this was the 2005 Pakistan team, which would win consistently and never give up hope...

Pakistanis are capable of loads full of surprises either wiht batting or bowling , this time around with batting...lets see
 
SA didn't do all that well against the Irish bowling in the warm-up game either. I think we are OK here. Of the people that got out, I personally have zero expectations from Inzi, hafeez and YK, so for me we have only had one real loss. And Ireland is making up for it in terms of wides. With azhar, kamran and sami left I think we'll scrape together another 100 runs and that should be enough.
 
Hopefully we could give them a game in the extras count; but it looks like they might win that too
 
btw people, lets not forget, South Africa got to 200 from 90-6 or something like that, not all is lost..

Im angry as hell too but don't act like Pakistan is out of the WC already, we have all the chances for this match and the next, but obviously Pakistan has to set things right immediately with their line up

I think we have seen enough surprises since last year. Now we need seriouse cricket her.
 
Attention Pakistani Fans:

Supporting your team implies supporting them through thick and thin ! It does not mean wishing ill on them and hoping that they lose - that is why we have fans of opposing teams !

You and I have no idea of types of opposition and or pressure on Pak batsmen - Inshallah, we will win this match - it wont be pretty but we will do this.

This comes as no surprise. Without kaneria to bail us out with the bat we will not get 150.
 
a warm up is a ****ing warmup, the way our big 3 played today, there is no excuse. We look terrible. If we lose this one (i hope not) woolmer has got to go. Inzy should quit playing ODIs as he's a walking LBW due to his slow reaction time.

pathetic batting by Nazir....

He couldnt get a bat on anything and finally gave away catching practice
 
None of these guys know how to play a defensive shot. It would be better if they went gung ho at least they would ve reached 150
 
Nazir gone! We are going out in the first round. This should be the end of Inzi from all forms and Younis from ODIs.

I had switched off the tele 15 mins ago, as i have switched on the tele again i find pakistan reeling at 66/5 with nazir just out few moments ago !


Why the hell the pitch authorities prepared a green top for pakistan game today ??????
 
As I said our cricket standrd is gone below any B Team in World. We don't deserve to play in CWC 07. Sorry to say that but it's becoming a fact now. Our captain again played at no. 5 even knowing the importantce of this match. I see cracks in Pak Team camp already.
 
i think inzi should have to come out and declear ireland as a winner and go back to pakistan..
 
i think i am going nuts right now.. if pakistan loses this game i will break inzis nuts..
 
The line-up needs major changes, I'm looking forward to the era after the world cup, we have to make drastic changes, this just isnt working.
