Yousuf and Inzi were part of the reason why Pak dominated the match up with India for so long in ODIs. Ganguly as a bat was a purely off side player and struggled against pace. Yousuf had no such issues. Their test records are proof.

Their job is to :
- Score runs at a healthy strike rate that wins games or sets up totals
- field everything that comes their way + the odd roundout would be a bonus
- Catch everying that comes their way + if they convert a half chance into a catch, is a bonus
- Provide crucial inputs
- guide the young guys
If they fulfil all of the above and continue doing consistently, they stay
- If they fail in even one of the above, i have no doubt AA, GG & JS will show them the door.
Either way - i am enjoying watching them, enjoyed them in 2023 WC, the T20 WC, in the CT 2025 and we have home odi's and enough games to use as a barometer till the WC 2027.

THat was to those who say without them India won't win world cup. For one thing Tendulkar was actively playing both Tests and ODIs back then. Tendulkar also played in domestic matches. Tendulkar never had any ready made replacement like we have. India cannot assess the form of such 40 year olds right before world cup. India needs time to groom back ups. THey need game time as well. We are not associate country to play 40 year olds
