A guy posted some quite racist things on my friends FB Wall...and it happens that he actually co-founded a successful charity in Africa...
The individual in question holds some deplorable views...but is evidently good at his job...and the people the charity is helping have had tangible results...
Often there is an expectation that NGO workers should be caring and idealistic but for many just like other jobs their prime motivations might be money...or simply achieving challenges and being good at a job...after all NGOs hire based on skill sets not because of how nice people are...
In short and I guess this can apply to other jobs...does being a terrible person mean you do terrible work?...
And can ones views be separated from their work?...
