So Indians dont see the murder and brutalization as normal in Kashmir, or the horrendous poverty as something that is the norm. Or The shift to right as ok? Maybe they do.
Kashmir? Yeah you won't find many Kashmir sympathizers among Indians, the only problem in Kashmir that me and most Indians see is pakistan's support to terrorist and militants, this has been discussed millions of times so let's not stretch this point.
Poverty? The state in which India was left in at the time of independence by the British, it is no surprise there is so wide spread poverty. This level of poverty can't end overnight, do you expect a magic solution to end all poverty? I've seen the rising numbers of the Indian middle class over the last 20 years. The standard of living has tremendously improved for millions of Indians and it is continuing to improve, so we know we are on the right track.
Shift to the right? Lol India is democracy (a real, successful democracy). The Indians have selected the government you see at the center, most Indians are happy with the government and the pm we picked, sure there will crticisms regarding different policies of the government but we don't cry and whine about our government and PM like the pakistanis do, we are happy with our govt at the moment and if we feel this government isn't working then we can always change it in the next election.
Most Indians do view their country positively and most of us do feel we are headed in the right direction and most importantly, to answer your main question as to why Indians don't crticise their country is because the real topics of criticnsms about India are not posted here. Most topics here are driven by the Pakistani perspective on India and like I said before , most Indians don't agree with the Pakistani perspective
