Fixing or betting is a term no athlete would like to associate ever with their name in their career. but still somehow situation or greed lure them in to this disease which effects not only their career but also break hearts of die hard & passionate fans . who sacrifice their priorities to watch them play and feels cheated and betrayed .
i would like to know why pakistani players are so easy to lure into the disease called fixing there are other countries as well who pays much lesser to their players then pcb' then why pakistan?
i personally feel fixing root in pakistan is much much deeper than just what comes out in media .
discarded players who have no possible future in cricket is easy target of bookies to lure them and by their help they get in contact with other Active international players . current players dont report fixing approach
a) because of their friendship
b) pcb unpredectablity . in professional boards if a player report fixing . he will be assured that it wont leak in media . there are numerous risk he may get expose to. like some reports came that bookies threaten shazaib family to not expose him.

im not sure whats the law in pakistan and in India too regarding fixing and betting. i know its banned .
they should make betting and fixing as crime . and jail the bookies first and find out all the players involved or in contact with him.
only then there's a Hope for future without fixing .

Note:This is my first proper thread please let me know .if i made if any grammatical or any kind of mistake.

Is spot fixing prominent in India? There are spot fixing and match fixing scandals every season in the IPL with 2 or 3 franchises banned after major problems, entire boards hadt o be changed and yet, those companies snuck back into the IPL and the likes of Dhoni and Dravid who were on those corrupt boards are back too.

So as an Indian member, ouldnt that be more of a concern to you?
