Is the death toll reported by the media accurate? About 35000 people have died due to Covid-19, out of this how many percent would have died regardless of this virus? Is the media just summing up everyone that dies into carona virus pool to create sensationalism? Before the virus average of 500 people died in NYC everyday.

We'll only find that out next year when we look at how many people died in 2020 and compare it to the previous years average

Loss of years will give us a better idea.

With an underlying Cancer, if average life expectancy after diagnosis is 05 years and Cancer patients with Corona start dying earlier then it should be counted against Corona.

Whenever the Data will be published, we should look for Average Loss of years from Corona vs No-Corona.

That’s what I was thinking about over the last few days and weeks. I wonder how accurate this is, people die every day, most have an underlying condition so is coronavirus really the cause or their deaths. There could also be false positives in terms of tests, and deaths wrongly attributed to the virus. There is a lot of panic, because of the lack of understanding of the virus, hopefully it’s not too long before we see a vaccine for the virus.

Media plays a big role. They have reported very few details and only mention the numbers of deaths each day.

I don't think it's being reported accurately in many countries.

For example, they say there are 49 cases in Bangladesh. I don't buy it at all. I think number is higher.

I also think Chinese casualties are higher.
