India has been a batting power house , almost always . Traditionally its their bowling which had been their relatively weaker point. Now, with one of the best fast bowling attack for limited over cricket, backed by quality spinners, India never had such a strong bowling squad ever in their WC squad
Batting line has some big names like Sharma, Dhawan , Dhoni and Kohli, but other than Kohli, all others have been inconsistent at international level recently and have passed their prime. I don;t think India, by their own high standard , had such a weak batting line up ever in the past.
Will the bowlers make up for the weakness in batting, only time will tell.
