Accumulators galore. Never seen such a defensive batting line up in T20s ever. Apart from Fakhar at the top,the numbers 2 to 6 are simply weak for t20s. At the most you can make a case for 1 of Haris or babar to steady the ship but why so many?

Not really . Umar amin and nawaz are hardly new talents . They are hardly even talents . A lot of them are playing the wrong format .
No problem trying out new talent . Hardly any here though.

But you raise a good question. Strong questions will raise on our captain too. Umar amin's failure lead to Ahmad shahzad's inclusion.

Nawaz is never gone to be a t20 player in any aspect, neither as a bowler nor as a batsman and poor as an all rounder too.

we never look to give rest to babar azam, he is not doing well, give him a break.

Opening and number 3 spots are the most important positions for any team, and it's a travesty that Amin and Nawaz played there. Haris is not T20I material either, should stick to Test cricket.

Even sarfaraz isnt a t20 batsman and Babar is still learning the art of power hitting. That makes 5 main batsmen who arent meant for t20 cricket. Astonishing.

I dont know. But i am assuming Pakistan has more explosive batsmen than these guys.

Sahibzada farhan, sohaib maqsood etc or new guys like nasir nawaz or even sohail akhtar. Its just t20, each one of them needs to last a few overs only but make it count.

Bangladesh & Afghanistan much better.

Don’t forget the bowling pak use to proudly have the edge over Ind in that department, even that is embarrassing these days.

This is the batting lineup this selection committe is building for 2 years.
Batting lineup is pretty crap, the pitch was not fit for T20 brand of cricket. Kiwi losers now will prepare another bouncy track just to out-bounce Pakistan out of another series. They are going continue their pathetic strategy.

One has to ask Inzamam how on earth he sends wrong person for the wrong format. Umar Amin, Harris were crap today, in the batting and the field. Amin dropped crucial catches the other Haris gave overthrows, lousy fielders. Shehzad has attitude issues and management will try any alternative Inzi sends, and Inzi will not build batting lineup in order to help Malik and Azam to remain in the team. The bowling of Hasan also getting really awful. Bowling and batting both are below standard

Better Arthur play all rounders Nawaz, Yamin, Faheem up the order anyway they are not going to be able to compete the way New Zealand losers preparing pitches. If Hasan does'nt bowl well they should drop him also. He is not bowling the way we see him, banging in short back fo the length even Yamin bowled better than him. Amir and Hasan should be rested or sent home they don't want to win.

Firstly, these group of young players should be backed no second thoughts...
Secondly, this T20I is coming after a disastrous 5-0 ODI defeat..

Clearly the players are completely out of confidence and touch... All looked in search of runs and quick runs..

Babar who was a goner in the ODI series against pace bowling, but today scored some runs after the new ball bowlers are taken outta the attack...He needs a lot runs to get his confidence back..

Umar amin looked like a player who was already told he will dropped the next game if he doesnt score a 50 today.. Missed easy scoring shots , by not getting bat on ball, dropped catches. looked very shaky and got out to a nothing ball...

Same with Haris who got out to half volley way outside off .. easy boundary shot was there to be hit but he scrambled the shot.. haris is the only player who can the play the new ball in NZL in this team and i think he should open the batting with Zaman... Amin should come in at no.4 i think in T20I

Sarfraz not sure what he was doing, he is completely out of touch, looks down and out before he walks in...

they need the same inspiration they got after the 1st loss to india in CT'17 to turn things back and win a match , if not 3-0 will be result...

They look very demoralized and shattered. need some soul-searching and backing...


Backing this young team is the only way out of this tour...

this batting line up has been struggling even in familiar conditions. We look good because of our bowling even in UAE. Our ODI-T20 records against top four even in UAE is crap.

Even this Sri Lankan bowling that has looked mediocre against Zim and BD made our batsmen work hard to score decent totals in familiar conditions. It's clear whatever Pakistan is trying at the moment is not working. They need to change their approach and never pick players who are outdated.

The squad was wrong for this series I think we can all agree on that.
Batting wise, Sarfraz should open with Fakhar, with Babar one down. If we lose some early wickets we should send in Hassan Ali or Fahim and look to attack the opposition
Nawaz, Haris or Umar Amin won’t place any fear into the hearts of the NZ attack

What you said was right... instead of accepting the fact that they cannot perform in these conditions, people find players outside the team to be better players than the playing 11... But the experienced lot cannot be levied on this, they are simply not good enough against any top teams anywhere in the world where there is help for bowlers .....

From the squad given, i think this was a bold decision, which would be ideally applauded. but when you have lost 5 on the trot before, the appetite for more losses is low.
the worst lessons to learn from this would be (keeping the squad selected as the limitation) to bring in shehzad and hafeez.

Why is Babar getting so much hate? He held the innings together and has shown he can bat very well in the limited overs formats in various conditions. everyone is allowed one bad series, and considering most of you on here are addicted to KOhli, maybe some of you should watch his early stuff and she he also fell apart at times in those early days.

Plus, Babar very much in the mould of the top batsmen of the day, accumulate early increase the pace later.

I don't know if you members are Pakistani or others masquerading as Pakistani, but to have so much dislike for your own team, a very young team which just months earlier was performing really well is unusual. Either that or most of the members on here (some are good) are the worst fan base on the planet.
