Incredible number of Indians in Dubai/UAE and given India's economic strength, might only be a matter of time before an Indian Empire with UAE as first outpost

Bur dubai definitely is a subcontinent infestation. Go Dubai on hoilday on a regular basis, Bur dubai was very unhygienic a big sub continent contingent of indians, Afgans, Pakistanis. Central Dubai is alot better, with natives and is alot cleaner.

Seems to be going that way.

Would be interesting how things pan out 50 years from now.

All the black money in India is sitting in Dubai in the form of luxury apartments and fancy malls. Last time I was in Dubai was 6 years ago and I was surprised to see so many Indians there. The actual Arabs were a small minority in all the places I went.

UAE is allowing it and Indians are taking the offer.

Rhats far from the truth. Central Dubai is Majority natives. Only around Bur Dubai is Majority subcontinent contingent.

Well if these Emiratis or whatever they call themselves are to lazy and arrogant to do what they consider lesser jobs then they'll need poor labourers from the subcontinent to do it. Whatever happens in Dubai does so with the permission of their pervert Sheikh's. Dubai is like one big brothel where anyone with money can buy whatever they want. It is not as if the UAE military is something to worry about:hasan

Let's not be hypocrites here.

OP is being sarcastic here but Indians have same amount of right as any other migrant community :danish

The prosperity is a result of backbreaking hard work of many generations (same as Pakistanis etc.!).

If you consider the case of Princess Latifa, it's clearly more the case that India has become an informal colony of the UAE.

She had fled Dubai and taken a yacht from the coast of Oman, and was in international waters when Indian commandos stormed the yacht, took her prisoner and returned her to Dubai.

Just to put things in perspective:

National GDP
India $3.54 trillion
UAE $0.5 trillion

GDP per capita
India $2,601
UAE $50,349

I guess the relationship is similar to the one between Singapore and the Philippines, where a lot of Singaporeans get their servants from the Philippines.

They’re just using Indians for labour, both physical and intellectual. Pakistanis are lagging on the intellectual side which dilutes our intellectual capital. The arabs worship nothing but money.
