The guy, it turns out, was advisor to one of the leaders of a Middle-Eastern foreign country while he was a senator of Pakistan, and this is according to himself via the documents he submitted. That too by mistake. He said he only started politics after 2008, when he was asked about the billion rupees he produced a letter stating he was an advisor to another leader between 2003-2005....the dates when he was also the senator of Pakistan. And it also turns out he was paid almost one BILLION Rupees, or so he says after he was asked who invested in your xyz company or something maybe someone correct me and he has absolutely no slips or receipts to show for it. Qatari letter number 3? :))

Like Syed1 said, these people are now a national security risk.

Good to see Nawaz's lawyer absolutely destroyed today, the judges said the case will either go to NAB or disqualification, most lawyers from their responses say he is done for. His lawyer admitted all the contents of the JIT report and said ''we wish to fight on the legal technicalities''. Unbelievable. @WeGuru also rumors Nisar is leaving PMLN and there is also a big rebel group within PMLN who want to leave? I know Nisar today is out of action due to some ''sickness''.

CH Nisar has gone for a new hair transplant!

Technicality eh.... so they admit everything JIT produced is true.

Pretty much, they have not challenged a single thing in the report. When the judge asked them fine you didn't answer the JIT, so answer us now the lawyer's response was we wish to challenge the report on legal technicalities :)) The response he got from the judges was that we know your clients did not answer deliberately and kept saying ''I don't know''.

What a farce, no wonder no decent lawyer will represent them. It would be career suicide.

I also can't see Dar escaping, the laws he's broken as a result of the things mentioned in the OP...

If the case goes to NAB then I assume the case will linger for ages and finally the Sharifs will get away...any comments on this opinion?

If the SC can't not make a final verdict after so many months then it is questionable.

True already multiple cases of Sharif family in NAB are pending.

I dont think SC will refer Panama case to nab. On more than occasions they have said Nab is done and dusted.

If the SC refers the case to NAB, then a bill should be passed in the parliament by all parties to legalize corruption. SC is turning out to be a joke.

WebGuru - Wasnt the first step supposed to be that SC will decide to whether open proceedings against Sharif family?
