Off spinner Iftikhar was brought into the attack to counter the left-handed Mohammad Nawaz & only conceded two runs in his opening over. However, Sarfraz strikes at 150 v off spin & when Iftikhar was given a second over he capitalised, taking 26 off it.

Decision to bring him on in the first over was an excellent one. Which captain doesn’t give a bowler a second over after they only concede 2? Many of you criticizing Shadab here would be criticizing him for not bringing Ifti back on. Accept that it was a well thought out move and appreciate the captaincy.

Shadab has been the best captain in the PSL so far and that was on full display against Zalmi, and now against Quetta where he brought Faheem in for Delport and forcing Hassan Ali to change ends — Faheem takes a wicket first ball.

Secondly Rizwan has showed exponential growth in his game across the formats and is 28 so he looks to have a much higher ceiling in coming years.

Rizwan has improved a lot since Zimbabwe in limited overs cricket. Sarfraz is ok as squad player,better than likes of KIA(Khushdil, Iftikhar, Asif) players, but Rizwan is better all type bowlers.

Yeah that was one useless over and unnecessary to give him that over when Quetta were 87/5 . Should have brought Faheem or Hassan at that time to go for the kill.. Now the score will most likely reach 160 what could have been only 110-120.
