Islamabad United [290/3] beat Quetta Gladiators [231/8] by 59 runs in T20 Exbibition Match at Pindi

Pakistan Super League franchises Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators will play an exhibition match on Thursday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The match will start at 1730PST after performances from various singers.

Islamabad will be led by former Pakistan skipper Misbahul Haq, while current Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed will lead the Quetta side.

Islamabad will have the services of newly appointed head coach Waqar Younis alongside pacer Rumman Raees and spinner Shadab Khan. Actor Fawad Khan will be there to support the United team.

Meanwhile, Quetta will be assisted by former Pakistan captain and team’s head coach Moin Khan, former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, batsman Asad Shafiq and all-rounder Anwar Ali. Gladiators will have singers Fakhir and Aima Baig performing for their side.

Found a stream on YouTube and after fiddling around for a few minutes found Waqar's spell. The guy really was swinging it a good deal and it was late swing. Waqar is in terrible shape though, the deliveries could not have been faster than 110 kph. It doesn't take a lot to imagine why he was considered one of the best in the business. If you can swing it like that at good pace you will be a genuine wicket taker. Plus he still has the mentality to take wickets, was bowling it full and attacked the wickets

I think the goal would be to introduce him in psl then to BPL and BBL as a hitter, they may already know that he cant make it to the national level might as well play some league and make money

Some things never change. Wasim as a regular player was more threatening than Waqar and now even as a retired player is more threatening than Waqar. Apart from the freak first 6-7 years Waqar had in his career, Wasim was overall the more gifted and better package.

I wouldn't say better, Vicky uncle is couldn't have been bowling faster then 115ks. The question is he did this without any training, kept the ball full. Makes one think when he was the coach, did the current lot of bowlers just not care or what?

The straight drive hit by Umar Amin, if Vicky uncle was in full flow, Amin would have never been near that ball. The fact that Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis can swing it at will shows us that they were just natural talents.
