What's new

Quetta Gladiators (159/8) defeat Islamabad United (157/9) by 2 wickets in a nail-biting encounter in Match 23 of PSL X

Surprisingly the crowd situation is alarming for tournament like PSL, tbh that comical Faysal T20 had more followings even for games like Bahawalpur Stags v Abottabad Falcons

Lol poor captaincy by agha and now 2 drop catches

Embarrassing clown show.

Makes mockery of this contest. Pathetic and disappointing.

The last over clownery sucked all meaning out of this game.

Comedy of errors under pressure. No wonder our guys have become the biggest chokers lately.

So QG becomes a solid contender for qualification now , PZ & KK to fight for last spot

Not sure if I'm a fan of IU's school cricket "humnay sub ko chance daina hai" strategy

Trademark registered PSL match. Low quality, full of blunders from start to finish, but a close finish. PSL will not improve until & unless they remove the emerging player rule or introduce a substitute player. Most teams play with 10 players & it just reduces the overall quality of the competition.

Also if I had any power, I'd never allow cricketers like Salman Irshad on the field. Second hand embarrassment galore watching such an unathletic sports person masquerade as an elite athlete.

Agree with everything except emerging player rule. That is actually one of the saving graces of psl for me.

I liked the rule in its initial days but after a few seasons I've realized the futility of this rule. You shouldn't handicap your franchises and lower the level of competition by this. Our youngsters are not ready made products & just dilute the entire level of the competition even further as well as losing their own confidence & then vanishing into obscurity. It's just too much pressure.

We already got few talented names this season alone due to this rule. Its better for pakistan cricket. Ali raza, maaz sadaqat, hasan nawaz, ubaid shah.

Two good days for pak cricket, yesterday maaz sadaqat put his hand up, today Hasan Nawaz

Mayers was there yet Agha gave the ball to Shahzad who hasn't done anything with the bat or ball in all the games he's played.

3 dropped catches in one over...Is that some kind of record? PSL truly is a Pakistani product. In no other league would you see this kind of atrocious batting and fielding.

Islamabad deserved to lose this game...They dropped 3 catches in the last over LOL...
Crazy... happy that Quetta won because Islamabad was pathetic in the field in the crunch moments when it matters the most.

Agreed. All their hard work was undone in last over
