Zalmi don't choke.

There's a first for everything :)), and in case people have forgotten we have given Maxwell of all people  a double wicket maiden in the final over of the innings while he defended 2 off 6 balls. The interesting part is Afridi was the captain of that match as well; so basically he has the capacity to choke here as well.

I would've agreed with Shehzy's axing if a more competent batsman had been selected in his place, I would even have tolerated a hack like Maqsood just not Manzoor who is an epitome of technical flaws, Shehzy is 100 times better than him in all disciplines. It just doesn't make any sense as to why you'd select him for a mega event, mind boggling and extremely bizarre selection I've seen in my entire life.

and this adds to the discussion thread of Zalmi vs United how ???

You can expect every thing from a genuine A/R Sohail Tanveer :))

I like hafeez as a batsman and individual, I support him!

And yet, even his biggest supporter (Afridi) didn't want him.

The Pindi Phenom....Dr Kurki :))) is a sight to behold whenever he is on the field. Sir Tanvir Sobers :))) Red Devil shaz619 your boy did ok today other than trying to muck up a decent KK performance.

Update me with his performances? :))) need some cheering up after my poor uni results

cricfan14: You don't drop your established opener prior to a mega event when you've stuck with him throughout the year and replace him with an amateur. FOA dropping him with WorldT20 just around the corner was a stupid decision in itself, secondly replacing him with a technical hack who isn't fit to even represent a club side is even more idiotic.

Every time a boundary is hit, I mute the volume 'cause of Bazid, he gets excited too much and he doesn't have the skills to make it interesting, even Pat is a better commie than him.

Sigh. Shehzad fans are incapable or doing anything except make excuses for him. If he's dropped after the WC, like he was, they yell and scream about how unfairly he's treated. Then when he essentially gets the full year to prove himself and fails and gets dropped, then they yell about how he can't be dropped before a critical series.

And if he was dropped before NZ they would yell about him getting dropped before a critical series and how he did so well in NZ years ago.

And if he got dropped before X they would argue that it's a bad time because of XYZ.

Shehzad fans always have a reason that he shouldn't be dropped that is NEVER related to his current form

Bazid Khan really excited today in the combox, showing his jazba:akhtar

Misbah will never drop a skyer. Reminded me of that Masakadza catch in the world cup lol

I wanted Hafeez to score big but I also wanted Islamabad to win....both half ways though

I am not his fan, I rate performances and he has been a prolific performer for Pakistan in the last few years, last year has been disappointing ever since he got hit by Anderson, as I said I wouldn't had a problem with his axing if it happened a couple months ago when he was going through abysmal form. It would've given him time to work on his game and mental discipline and would've come back an even better player, but dropping him with WT20 looming around the corner when he has been part of the setup for so long and replacing him with an absolute clueless batsman is plain lunacy.

Javed afridi needs to cut his diet! Looking bigger day by day.

You are not his fan, yet you consistently defend him and his selection? Ok.

Again, if he was axed before NZ series, people like you would be talking about his NZ performance years ago and how he's the only one who can perform in foreign conditions blah blah

Oh no, not this lady again

Asking rubbish questions and nothing about the actual cricket

I wouldn't, I am not a blind irrational diabolical supporter like so many others in here, I live in the NOW not in the past.

Ajmal is finished. Few good deliveries but he doesnt have 1/10 of the control he had before. Commies should stop praising him all the time
