Lol I used to laugh at the prospect of taking Misbah to the world t20, but the way he has outclassed other batsmen on this pitch with 40 at 151 SR while others got our for single digits and 100 or below sr, have seriously reconsidered.

Exactly they couldn't play for 15 overs and the moment they decided to slog they started dispatching every ball for six by just watching the ball closely and forgetting about trying to pick it or premeditate shots or any thing.

Yeah. That's the thing with t20 cricket. If you are physically strong with good hand eye, then technique can be taken out of the equation because if you can clear the ropes for a good 5 to 10 overs with power alone, then you don't need technique. Which is why you have that baseball player trying to transfer over to cricket.

I guess that's the thing that annoys the purists, but am personally a fan of t20s.
