It is a bit embarrassing to be honest. There are loads of exciting and younger talent who make themselves available for the draft. But franchies will pack their sides with oldies or players who aren't ready. Doesn't seem to be much in between.

Wow shadab is proving his move of promoting himself high a right one.

Batting position makes a huge difference. As said in another thread Shadab was never known as a no 8 six hitter but his batting talent was always known. Batting at no 8 for few deliveries wasnt exactly suited to his game but he was 18-19 when he debuted and fans only take things at face value and never give roam for improvement even to teenagers.

Again if he will be put to no 8, he will rarely perform unless his game develops for that role.
