another catch has been dropped of shadab.Hasnain has been unlucky. he has gotten him out twice but he is still there.
 
I have to say Sarfraz looks so skinny compare to before wish he took his fitness seriously during World Cup
 
What a fluke inning by Shadab already dropped twice but some of his shots are pretty impressive though
 
Yah shadab was dropped but the one Azam dropped was a cracking shot and not an edge. His timing has been pretty good.

The shots in between drops show skills. My post was meant for before the second drop but its doesnt matter as drop gives you a chance but doesnt give you some sort of drug to be able to hit those shots.

There are very few international level cricketers who wont score 40 odd on flattest of deck with 2 chances. Specially in domestic tournament.

I think the bowling has made him look better then he is. So far he's played one good one decent innings. Let's see how he keeps it up for the remainder.

And wickets in T20s and even ODIs arent flat almost everywhere now? Yes there might be a bit of difference in pace off the wicket but overall their are flat wickets all around in LOIs. Also countless players fail day in and day out even on flat wickets at international level. Whats your point?
 
One thing you have to give Asif, he is a monstrous hitter when he gets it right, no one hit them this big after Afridi.
 
You know what I think Asif really needs to go to domestic cricket again and try to bat long innings.

He has so much potential and he showed that too during the ODI series in England.

I agree, he isnt gonna become ABD or Maxwell after these innings at international level. My point is guy is now a days a bowling all rounder and has shown skills with the bat which shouldnt be undermined. He is 21 and you will see countless people writing him off, same was the case with other youngsters at international level. People are too quick to write off and then if someone shows something they try their best to downplay which in my opinion is wrong.

He is just a tulla - who is worst than Afridi at international level dont let couple of 6s here and there believe you other wise. Poor mans Afridi who doesnt bowl.

Point is if you need two chances to score 40 at domestic level on flat wickets its not very promising at international level. This innings has not shown me anything he can bat a bit but noway should come in any earlier than 8 For Pakistan! Pakistan should have 7 better batters in the XI if they are going to win the T20 WC.

Yh he is young and has enough time to fine tune one of his traits batting or bowling. But he really needs to figure what he wants to be a batting all-rounder. or a bowling all-rounder. I really hope he don't end up being a jack of all trades master of none.
 
Asif is probably the worst cricketer i have seen play for Pakistan. Or sorry i am confused faheem is in next

When I said impressive stuff I was in no way implying that he should be in the Pak top order for T20 WC. He showed he can be rotated if necessary and also that he is working on his game.

Agreed. One of his skills (probably bowling) should develop enough to be a regular in Pak side and the other skills would be bonus.

Really he needs to develop his bowling further batting will probably never be good enough to get in as a batter or batting allrounder.
 
Islamabad's brand of cricket is very similar to england's. Both just keep attacking irrespictive of remaining wickets.

I always said even before Naseem shah should be included in t20 sqaud for World Cup he is our future star bowler

not good so many catches dropped..naseem needs to stay away 2020s...need him for one days and tests thats it...btw ingram drop will cost queta here
 
Naseem just said himself he plays 4 day cricket More doesn’t have much t20 experience man keep him away from this ** tamasha cricket it will only ruin his test career. T20 can really shatter a bowlers career and 16 that’s just not good
