Amir was made to come out of retirement. Now convincing Amir must have been hard as there was no way he was interested in making his return to Pakistan cricket, yet out of no where he made himself available after being "contacted". Imad Wasim was also made to come out of retirement aswell.

It seems as if the establishment is bidding on this World T20, if Pakistan manages to come out as the winner, they can take the credit and show it was them who helped and bring honor for the country.

Nope, Babar will not mention him if that happens. Its Shaheen who has been openly giving credit to Imran Khan for his back to back PSL titles. Babar is not brave but he is very clever, he won't be mentioning Khan at all especially with what is happening now adays.

You can check Shaheen's statement crediting his captaincy success, there is no way Mohsin Naqvi would have allowed Shaheen to lead and potentially win the cup.

Imad's place for the India World Cup could had been warranted. Especially when the 3 guys we had couldn't spin the ball nor get the line right. Imad also cant spin but his accuracy was better.

Imad is not my primary choice, but if required, i still think he can be used in the team due to his last 4 matches performance of the PSL.

Still if he performs bad i will critisize him like how i critisize Shadab. I am actually support Shadab but whenever i see him bowl bad i advocate for him to be dropped.

PSL's hype relies on social media hype. If there are memes, media houses have invested interest and there is talk about stuff happening in PSL, there is hype and alot of people brands get involved. Viewership increases.

This time around, the establishment decided to ban twitter (from where all the memes are generated), only because they had rigged an election and they wanted people not to discuss and not be aware of the form 45 shots that were being posted. During the whole time PSL went on, twitter was banned in Pakistan and thus the whole viewership was destroyed.

The consequences of this is that now the next media and digital rights would be sold for less money as the base year that would be taken had very less viewership.

We are expected to host an ICC tournament, but the ICC are well within their rights to use the excuse of us banning twitter in country to pull the tournament out, because with social media platform being banned and no talk or hype would be able to be generated the viewerships will fall.

The only explanation is commercial and sponsorship, Babar brings traffic to the PCB, there was a twitter space for Babar and Shaheen, Babar had 23k people logged in whereas Shaheen only had 3.5k. Most of the neutral PZ games in the PSL were sold out because of Babar.

I am just wondering whether the demands by Javed Afridi and PCB's commercial partners have played a role here.

Quality of stadiums isnt an issue. This is an over blown thing that indian backed pages are spreading.

Indian stadiums are as bad as ours, only difference is that they have higher stands and visually it looks good. They also have those animal fences and have no roofs in most of the areas. Infact its very rare for stadiums to have roofs.
