James Bond vs Jason Bourne vs Ethan Hunt

James Bond, Jason Bourne and Ethan Hunt. Three amazing spies, and three amazing movie series. When I think of each spy I think of the following actors. James Bond - Daniel Craig / Jason Bourne - Matt Damon / Ethan Hunt - Tom Cruise.

However the question I want to ask is who would win if the three were to fight? Which one of these intelligent spies would have the upper hand. Personally I am a huge Tom Cruise fan and love the MI series so Ethan Hunt would be my fav.

So rank these three spies.

2. Jason Bourne - Could easily be swapped with Ethan Hunt for the #1 position. I mean the dude has no support from his agency whatsoever. I'm just a huge fan of the MI series.

Yeah but I believe without the tech and agency support Jason Bourne would be way ahead, and so would Ethan Hunt.

Bourne for me. Read the books before watching the movies. Like them all.

Definitely Bourne, always against everyone and by everyone I mean agencies, governments, highly skilled agents and has to think on his feet. What's cooler is that he disposed of the best agents with whatever he had within his reach.

Quite the sophisticated fella.

Hunt is in second place as he is usually also incommunicado from the powers that be but still has some support from them sometimes along with gadgets plus what not and if not the "friends" help out. Bond was a joke until the reboot but is still on par with Hunt depending on the movie as some reboot Bond movies were better than Hunt movies and vice versa but neither hold a candle to Bourne (Just the first 3).

Read the books way before watching the movies. The movies couldn't be further away from the books apart from the general idea.

That is like saying how good would Superman be if he couldn't fly or Hulk if he didn't get angry! I still think Bond would be great even on his own

That character had insane hand eye coordination and as skilled as one can be in hand to hand combat.

Hey, the question was about who would win a fight, not their personal morals. Bond is quite a stricken character really, he drinks hard and womanises to numb the pain of losing his beloved Tracey.

Yea he's crazy and all made better by the fact he was played by Matt Damon, really wish there was another Bourne movie coming out, because there is a MI and James Bond movie coming out so would have like to seen another Bourne movie.

Jack Reacher is a wanderer. He is definitely not a spy. He has never been a spy and would never consider being one. Jack Reacher is a wanderer, so he wouldn't qualify as a cop.

Otherwise I have read a few of his books (killing floor, tripwire, running blind etc) and seen the movie Jack Reacher and I must admit they were all very entertaining but not on the level of the spy films. However in my opinion if it came down to it Bourne would still win. I mean Reacher is highly skilled but if you think about it Bourne is basically a super soldier, I do no believe that anyone can defeat Bourne in hand to hand combat.

Bourne would decimate Both Hunt and Bond if it ever comes down to tracking and eliminating them. Guy's just a highly skilled assasin + Spy.

What I'd really want to see is a crossover between Bourne and Wick, now that would be a mouth-watering contest! Plus there wouldn't be any shaky cams as well
