Hello everyone!

Of late, I have been scouring around sources detailing UK work visa regulations for skilled Non-EU workers. I found out that your chances of getting a visa hinge primarily on your background, with occupations appearing on Shortage Occupation List having greater chances of getting a job and subsequently the visa. I also noticed some other points like - willingness of employer to sponsor, proving to home dept that no suitable British/ EU person was found for the role - playing their part in eventual visa acquirement.

Coming to my profile, I completed masters in Transportation Systems (Transportation Planning) from TU Munich last year and have been on a job -hunt since then. My lack of German language skills have proven to be a major hindrance in finding a job here in Germany. Therefore, I have been kind of forced to switch my attentions partially to UK.

The situation in UK with regards to Brexit is hazy. So keeping in mind the Brexit consequences and my educational background, what are the odds of i) getting interview calls from employers ii) them agreeing to sponsor visa ?

Best Regards,
