That painful lost to India in 2007 world t20 final in which misbah played that infamous shot haunted me alot even though we won the world t20 2 years latter in 2009 but still it hurt me because india denied us of an ICC title but 10 years in London we have our revenge we have denied India an ICC title and won it against them so finally we have the revenge against them for that match.

2 defeats against india have hurt me alot that world t20 final and other being Mohali SF..so we have avenged one defeat iA Mohali will be avenged soon too

This is the best thing that could have happened to avenge that loss in the final. It was very painful as many of us had already won the final but then Sreesanth ruined everything.

Now we have done the same and given India a defeat that they will remember for generations!

The 2007 final was a much closer game and how most cricket games should be played. The fact that India was absolutely massacred in this game makes it even more bittersweet.

But Pakistan won the Asia cup in the end. India beat us in a group stage game that was somewhat inconsequential.

T20 WC title is worth alot more imo, we thought we already had it with that scoop and i remember all of us screaming in joy as he connected only for sreesanth to emerge out of nowhere on the screen to take the catch. An Absolute cliffhanger of a match, our hearts were broken. This CT win is huge but a befitting revenge for that final would have been knocking out India from WC 2011 SF in Mohali.

remember CT was scrapped, only to be brought back after the test championship didn't materialse?
And again there are suggestions that it will be scrapped again in favour of WT20 every 2 years.
The suggestion that 50 overs cricket is superior to t20 is just plain dumb, each is a competitive format
the point is that that t20 final defeat was just too much of a heartbreak because of the fact that it was decided on the last ball. it felt bad to come all the way and lose when a win was so close.

(2 world cup and CT, come on man you're comparing the world 3rd biggest sports event with a nothing tounament!

You just need 4 matches to win and you can also be as lucky as Bangladesh was and as unlucky as Australia was!

This CT is just getting to be overrated because we smashed India in the finals otherwise its fame would've been stages below the present fame.

The previous T-20 WC had more viewership then the previous WC.

CT would've been way better if it was a league tournament with finals between the top 2.
