I have to say Warrican showed up Nauman in this series. His variation of pace was a lot better and most importantly he has a killer arm ball with which he destroyed Pakistan in 3 consecutive innings. That arm ball is what made Pakistani batters indecisive and made his regular left arm turn more effective.

Nauman has been playing professional cricket both domestic and international for a good 15 years now, surely that is enough time to develop an arm ball. Nauman is now 38 years old and doesn't have enough time left in international cricket. I doubt if he can develop an arm ball any time soon.

Given the kind of pitches Pakistan intends to produce at home, why not back a younger prospect who has a ten year future in front of him. I am pretty sure he can be equally effective on these wickets.

Warrican bowled at 72 mph allowing the ball to grip better. Nauman is your run of the mill left arm orthodox you can see in subcontinent. REminds me a bit of Sai kishore who had a box office first class season last year.

as a spinner i will pick Noman because of its better consistency with his line and length but on batting i will give warrican an edge because he adds more value in a Test side because of his batting skills.

Noman.

Warrican is not WI's first choice spinner. These Multan minefields (combined with some poor Pakistani batting) made him look better than he is.

That said he still utilised the conditions superbly and deserves all the plaudits he's getting.

Warrican deserves a lot of credit. Very few overseas spinners can bowl their team to success in Asia.

Now of course Pakistan batting had a part to play but nevertheless an average of under 10 across two matches is exceptional.

Noman is also look's better because of these doctored pitches otherwise he is a very Average spinner.

You're right , Warrican's arm ball was really a killer, even proved deadly for the batters who were supposed to play spin better like Rizwan. Noman took wickets of the batters who were younger with limited experience of playing quality spin but Warrican was unplayable for those who were supposed to be better and more experience batter , hence Warrican was better.

Noman has bowled only on rank turners so far. There is no real comparison atm.

Warrican. These are away conditions for him and he outbowled s drone else, including Noman.

Nikita Miller's first assignment as coach. Curious to see how much his inputs played its part.
