<b>'Everyone wants to sign Jude Bellingham': Qatari PSG owner hails England's World Cup star</b>

Nasser Al-Khelaifi is the power behind global sports investments by the state of Qatar - most prominently owning Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) - and the leader of European clubs fending off the Super League rebellion.

In a wide-ranging interview with Sky News at the World Cup, Mr Al Khelaifi commented on Bellingham, who has lit up the World Cup and led England into a quarter-final meeting with France on Saturday, Mr Al-Khelaifi told Sky News: "What a player. Honestly, England are lucky to have him … and he's one of the best players in the tournament.

"Amazing and you see his first World Cup - calm and relaxed and confident."

Bellingham has scored once and set up two goals in four appearances in Qatar.

Asked if PSG's recruitment team would be tasked with signing him from Borussia Dortmund, Mr Al-Khelaifi said: "Everyone wants him. I'm not going to hide it.

"But I respect he's in his club and, respect if we want to talk to him, we talk to the club first."

Great player. His ceiling is immense. I think City would sign him.

He needs to stay at Dortmund at least until the end of next season if not longer. Dortmund are fantastic at developing young talents into world-class players and while I'm sure he'll be tempted by the money on offer from bigger clubs, he needs to think long-term. He does not want to end up like Sancho. If I was in his corner, I'd get him to stay in Dortmund until he is 22 by which time he should be the complete article and then leave for either Madrid or City.

PSG, City or Liverpool.

He wouldnt want to go to Utd, Arsenal or Spurs for sure.

:))) he aint joining a declining liverpool. Liverpool waited to long to sign him.

We are in the Champions League KO stages, you haven't been in the champions league since Jude was a little boy :)

If LFC get the investment, he is coming to Anfield for sure.

A City team with Haaland and Bellingham would quite frankly be a farce.

Madrid. Fsg will never spend 100m when they're selling up.

Bit is he better than Tchouameni and Camavinga beyond the hype?.

Real Madrid. Liverpool don't have the money where as Man Utd don't really want him. Man City being well covered in that area don't need him. Whatever "The Sun" says never happens, check their record.

If Real Madrid sign Bellingham, then their midfield is sorted for the next decade, with the likes of Camavinga & Tchouameni also there. If he doesn't come to Man United, which he most likely won't, then I will like to see him at Real Madrid. He will be a great signing for them.

There is a good chance Gundogan goes in the summer and we've heard noises about Bernardo for a while so not sure they are well covered, plus if the opportunity to sign him came they'd make room for him

I do think stylistically he would be much more suited to Liverpool than City but can understand why he would go to City

Yeah sure. City gotta a much better chance of signing Jude if the want him. They've loads of money and are going to better places then Liverpool. Then again if City don't sign the said players they will not want him moreover Jude may not be guaranteed a first team place at the Etihad.

I think Jude would be given assurances if he went there and you would see a midfield three of Rodri, Jude and KDB

Though I'm not convinced that fully works as a trio, whereas he would suit Liverpool or Madrid a lot more

Or maybe if he sits tight hopefully we become a CL club in 18 months and he joins us :-)

Liverpool could give up on trying to sign Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham because they believe getting a deal done for the 19-year-old is proving too complicated. (AS - in Spanish)

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has described England midfielder Jude Bellingham as "exceptional".

The Borussia Dortmund player, 19, starred at the World Cup in Qatar as England reached the quarter-finals.

Bellingham has repeatedly been linked with a big-money move to Liverpool and European champions Real Madrid.

"I don't like to talk about money when you talk about a player like him," said Klopp before Liverpool's away match against Aston Villa on Monday.

"Everyone can see he is just exceptional."

Bellingham moved to Dortmund from Birmingham City aged 17 in 2020 and has captained the Bundesliga side this season.

He made his World Cup debut in Qatar, scoring in England's opening 6-2 win against Iran and was one of his team's standout performers at the tournament.

Klopp, who had a seven-year spell as Dortmund manager before joining Liverpool in 2015, added: "If you mention to someone who has no clue about football, or who knows about football and has not watched it for a while (and ask) 'How old do you think Jude Bellingham is?', I don't think anyone would get even close to his age.

"They would say 28 or 29 because he plays so mature. He played an exceptional World Cup. Absolutely exceptional.

"With all the things he has and things he can improve, to describe him I would say the things he can do are difficult to learn, and the things he can improve are easy to learn.

"So, yes, he is a really good player. What can I say? I have thought that already for two or three years since he had his breakthrough at Dortmund.

"Everybody knew already but I have no idea what that means for the money side of it.

"I really think if we all want to do him a favour then we do not talk too much about money. I mean that from an England point of view. Do not throw any hurdles in his development."

Liverpool are sixth in the Premier League, seven points behind fourth-placed Tottenham, with a game in hand.

Klopp said ensuring Champions League football was the "main target" for the club this season.

Liverpool favourites to sign Jude Bellingham this summer from Borussia Dortmund, say Sky in Germany

Liverpool remain favourites to sign Borussia Dortmund talisman Jude Bellingham this summer despite competition from Man City and Real Madrid, according to Sky in Germany.

Speaking on the Transfer Show, Sky in Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is "pushing, pushing, pushing" to bring the 19-year-old back to England to enhance his side's midfield.

Bellingham starred for England during the World Cup in Qatar last year and was also shortlisted for the 2022 European Golden Boy award. He has been in fine form for Dortmund in Europe and the Bundesliga, and has scored 10 goals in 23 games in all competitions.

Klopp has already hinted during January that his squad will undergo significant changes this summer, with Liverpool ninth in the Premier League and 10 points off the final Champions League qualification spot, with the midfielder his top target.

"We all think Bellingham will leave this summer, and that there is no chance Dortmund can keep him at this stage," Plettenberg said.

"But he has a contract without a release clause, so the price tag is very high. Dortmund want to have between €100m-€150m for him in the summer.

"There are three targets for him - Real Madrid, Man City and Liverpool. Liverpool are one of the favourites, and Jurgen Klopp is pushing, pushing, pushing for him and says he is his No 1 transfer target.

"Klopp hasn't spoken to Bellingham personally yet, but the conversations have been held with people like Julian Ward. Now they just have to work out who is paying the money."

Klopp has previously talked up Bellingham in public on multiple occasions, and labelled him "exceptional" last month on the back of his World Cup performances.

As much as I would love to see Jude at Liverpool my worrry is we'll spend all our summer budget on him. We need more then just one midfielder.

Liverpool in need of a rebuild especially in midfield, Bellingham would transform them.

Anywhere but City, please. Man City is already stacked, and they are boring to watch kind of.

Why would Bellingham gone to a mid table team on the decline, that may not even been in Europe next season :))

Jude's heart is with joining Liverpool. Problem will occur when other sides offer more money particularly if we don't qualify for next season's UCL. I hope Jude is wise enough to realize that Chelsea are experts in wasting career's. Ziyech, Pulisic, Werner, Lakaku, Salah and now even Sterling they have no plan off where a player will fit in after he joins.

According to Ornstein it's looking less likely to be Liverpool. Their demise this season has not timed well with their pursuit of him, and they are probably the least financially able of all the clubs that are in for him.

At this point Man City looks the most likely IMO, which would be very very boring. The PL is the most attractive league, and they are the only club with the financial level and sporting level to attract him in the country.

Jude Bellingham: Liverpool will not make move for England midfielder in summer

Liverpool will not pursue a move for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham this summer because of the money involved.

The 19-year-old has been heavily linked with the Reds but any move for the England international could cost in excess of £100m at least.

The size of the deal compared to the changes needed at Liverpool mean they do not consider it a viable option.

The Reds are eighth in the Premier League and 12 points off the top four.

Their struggles this season have seen manager Jurgen Klopp state there will be changes at the club in the summer and the German has described Bellingham as "exceptional".

"With all the things he has and things he can improve, to describe him I would say the things he can do are difficult to learn, and the things he can improve are easy to learn," said Klopp about Bellingham in December following the player's performances at the 2022 World Cup.

"So, yes, he is a really good player. What can I say? I have thought that already for two or three years since he had his breakthrough at Dortmund."

Bellingham, who moved to Dortmund from Birmingham City aged 17 in 2020, has played 37 games for the German club this season and scored 10 goals as well as registering six assists.

He is still admired by the Anfield club but the decision to pull out of any move for him is not thought to be about the player but more about the priorities and extent of the summer rebuild required.

Klopp recently said discussions regarding transfers had taken place during the international break and the development regarding Bellingham comes with Liverpool's owners - Fenway Sports Group - seeking new investment in the club.

Speaking prior to Sunday's 2-2 draw with Arsenal, Klopp said that "whatever we do next year will never be enough from people's point of view and your [the media's] point of view".

He added: "But yes, with smart recruitment we will improve - definitely. That is the plan."

Klopp on Bellingham: “I don’t know why we talk about things we theoretically can’t have”.

“If a child says he wants a Ferrari for Christmas, you say we can’t afford it and you can’t drive!”.

“What we need and what we want, we try absolutely everything to go and get it”.

Real Madrid are in advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund to sign England midfielder Jude Bellingham for more than 100m euros.

The 19-year-old, who joined Dortmund from Birmingham City in July 2020, was one of England's top performers at last year's World Cup.

Real are willing to pay around 100m euros for Bellingham but Dortmund are understood to want 150m euros.

Bellingham has been linked with some of Europe's top sides.

Real are confident the midfielder - who has turned down a contract offer to stay at Dortmund - wants to join them but Manchester City are still interested too.

Bellingham has played 40 times for his club this season - scoring 11 goals and registering seven assists.

He would have been the perfect Gundogan replacement. Bellingham, De Bruyne and Rodri midfield trio is the stuff of dreams.

The vacant #22 shirt at City was his if he wanted, but no English club including Man City can compete with Real Madrid and Barcelona’s pulling power even in 2023.

Most English players are not good enough to attract Real Madrid and Barcelona’s interest, but those that are good enough are unlikely to give preference to English clubs.

Real Madrid hope to complete details of Jude Bellingham deal next week. Talks are advancing also on final step, means add-ons package in addition to €100m fixed fee to BVB.

Documents for Jude’s six year deal as Real Madrid player will be prepared soon.

Real Madrid have agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund to sign England midfielder Jude Bellingham for 103m euros (£88.5m).

The 19-year-old, who joined Dortmund from Birmingham City in July 2020, was one of England's top performers at last year's World Cup.

Bellingham wants the move and will have a medical in the next few days.

The midfielder, who has been linked with some of Europe's top sides, will sign a six-year deal.

Dortmund have confirmed in a statement that the Spanish side have agreed to pay 103m euros, with various potential add-ons on top of that.

If those add-ons are achieved, the deal could reach 133.9m euros (£115m).

Manchester City and Liverpool were two of the sides keen on Bellingham, who is set to become the world's third-most expensive teenager.

Bellingham has made right choice joining Real, with camavinga and touchemeni as well they will have a midfielde which could serve them well for next 10 years. Bellingham will learn so much of modric and Kroos as they are phased out of the team.

England midfielder Jude Bellingham said he had "goosebumps" and his "heart was close to stopping" when he was told Real Madrid wanted to sign him.

Bellingham, 19, has joined the Spanish club from Borussia Dortmund for an initial 103m euros (£88.5m).

The fee could reach 133.9m euros (£115m) with add-ons.

"I'd always been aware of the interest from England so that was pretty normal," said Bellingham at his presentation as a Real Madrid player.

"It was a bit of a surprise when my dad sat me down and said: 'You've had a bit of interest from Real Madrid.'

"I think that was maybe about 12-15 months ago. When he said that I had goosebumps, my heart was close to stopping. It's something you don't expect growing up - being able to play for a team like this."

Dortmund made Bellingham the most expensive 17-year-old in football when they signed him from Birmingham City for £25m in 2020 and he enhanced his reputation with his performances for the German club.

He became Dortmund's youngest captain at 19 and was named the Bundesliga's player of the season for the last campaign.

Bellingham had been linked with Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United before choosing to move to Real Madrid.

At his presentation, he called it the "proudest day of my life" in joining "the greatest football club in the history of the game".

He added: "Money is not a thing for me. I don't think about money at all when I make these kind of decisions. I never have and will - I play the game purely out of love.

"I spoke to the people when I was given permission by Borussia Dortmund. I loved the feeling I got from the club. I couldn't hide it.

"I told them more or less straight away what I felt about the club and, after I made my decision, I wanted it to happen very quickly.

"It wasn't a case of other teams are bad or they weren't good but, for me, Madrid is the greatest."

England midfielder Jude Bellingham scored on his competitive Real Madrid debut as they began their La Liga season with victory at Athletic Bilbao.

The 20-year-old, who joined the Spanish giants for £88.5m from Borussia Dortmund this summer, got Real's second when he volleyed in from close range.

He is the first English player to score in a competitive game for Real since David Beckham in 2007.

Rodrygo had opened the scoring with a near-post finish at San Mames.

In an impressive performance, Bellingham caught the eye early in the second half with a run from deep inside his own half, skipping between two Athletic players before racing to the edge of their box.

Bellingham played in all four of Real's pre-season friendlies, scoring in a 2-0 win over Manchester United in Texas.

Former England and Manchester United midfielder Beckham also scored on his league debut for Real in 2003.

Real were runners-up in La Liga last season, finishing 10 points behind Barcelona.

"Bellingham is a fantastic kid, he displays quality, personality, he is a hard worker. He is just fantastic," manager Carlo Ancelotti told Movistar Plus.

"He is very motivated to be here, he is a fantastic player and a very, very important signing.

"We were on fire and motivated, we had a very good collective commitment, attitude, won many challenges, worked together defensively, a clean sheet was positive... it was a complete game, a very high level first half and a second half of total control."

England midfielder Jude Bellingham scored twice as Real Madrid came from behind to maintain their 100% start in La Liga with a victory at Almeria.

Bellingham, 20, has now scored three goals in the opening two Spanish top-flight matches since joining Real from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Vinicius Jr chipped in with Real's third of the night after Bellingham had levelled and put the visitors in front.

Sergio Arribas' early header had given Almeria the lead.

The £88.5m and various add-ons that could mean Real end up paying £115m for Bellingham already looks like money well spent.

The prodigiously talented former Birmingham City youngster has his peak years in front of him in the Spanish capital and has hit the ground running after switching from Germany's Bundesliga.

"He is adapting very well to La Liga, to our style, he's very good," said Real boss Carlo Ancelotti.

After finding the net on his league debut at Athletic Bilbao, Bellingham again played a key role in driving Ancelotti's side forward and ensuring they were comfortable winners in Andalusia.

Wearing the number five shirt once filled by Real icon Zinedine Zidane, Bellingham was in the right place at the right time to level the scores, picking up a fortuitous ricochet off home defender Chumi that dropped into his path to fire into the right corner.

He doubled his and Real's tally on the hour mark, heading in from Toni Kroos' pinpoint cross from the left.

Bellingham's pass and movement gave Brazil forward Vinicius the opportunity to deftly round off the scoring and seal Real's win.

Ancelotti using Bellingham in benezema role is stroke of genius.

Like bale did at Real, he will develop into a world class player. Even In England team now Bellingham looks elite

Best player on the pitch last night by a country mile. Genius move from Jude and his Dad to go to Real Madrid and steer clear of all the PL media nonsense. He has an X factor and can take the England team to a new level.

At Real Madrid he will develop rapidly but will also be enstilled with elite mentality as Real fans expect trophies, so this will make sure complacency doesn't kick in. If all falls into place he could become an elite all time England player as well.

Jude Bellingham is the fifth player to score on both his La Liga debut and Champions League debut for Real Madrid, after Fernando Morientes (1997-98), Cristiano Ronaldo (2009-10), Isco (2013-14) and Marco Asensio (2016-17).

He is the fifth player from England to score a Champions League goal for Real Madrid, after Steve McManaman, David Beckham, Michael Owen and Jonathan Woodgate

Jude needs to be careful that he doesn't just become a goal scorer because when the goal drought hits, which is inevitable, his game could become a shadow of his full potential.

Jude Bellingham equalled a goal record set by Cristiano Ronaldo when he found the back of the net in Real Madrid's 3-0 victory over Girona on Saturday.

Los Blancos put three unanswered goals past the Catalan outfit in the La Liga affair, with Bellingham on the scoresheet in the 71st minute of the contest.

The midfielder's goal made it six in his first seven league appearances for Los Blancos, which is the same that Cristiano Ronaldo managed in his debut campaign for the club in 2009-10.

At rate he's going at he's going to be a huge success at Real and also could become of England's greatest players as well, skys the limit for him

Jude Bellingham continued his brilliant start to his Real Madrid career by scoring twice in a comfortable home victory over Osasuna.

The 20-year-old has 10 goals in his first 10 matches in all competitions for the Spanish giants.

Bellingham opened the scoring in the ninth minute, before doubling his side's lead in the second half.

Vinicius Junior and Joselu also scored in the hosts' 4-0 win, with the latter missing an 84th-minute penalty.

Bellingham has had a superb start for the Spanish giants, having found the net in all but three of his 12 matches for club and country this season.

His first strike against Osasuna completed a brilliant team goal as he drove the ball into the roof of the net after good work from Dani Carvajal and Luka Modric.

He added his second in the 54th minute with a shot between the legs of onrushing goalkeeper Sergio Herrera after a fine one-two with Federico Valverde.

The ex-Birmingham City and Borussia Dortmund midfielder left the pitch to a standing ovation when he was substituted in the 72nd minute.

Ballon d'Or: Jude Bellingham wins Kopa Trophy for world's best young player

The 20-year-old was recognised at Monday's Ballon d'Or ceremony in Paris.

Bellingham has enjoyed a stunning start to his career at Real Madrid, scoring 13 goals in his first 13 games since joining in the summer.

The Kopa Trophy recognises his performances last season, during which he scored 14 times in 42 games for Borussia Dortmund.

He also helped England reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar.

Bellingham was picked ahead of Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala, with former winners - Barcelona pair Gavi and Pedri - as well as Real team-mate Eduardo Camavinga also up for the award.

He said: "It is a great list of players [to have won this award before].

"It is an honour to be in front of some of the best players in the world here and some of the best to have ever played the game.

"To win this trophy means a lot but for me the important thing is team trophies and the important thing for me is to kick on and help Real Madrid and England win trophies for many years."

Jude Bellingham: England and Real Madrid midfielder wins Golden Boy award

England and Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has won the 2023 Golden Boy award - given to the best under-21 player in Europe's top flights.

Colombia and Real Madrid forward Linda Caicedo, 18, won the Golden Girl award.

Bellingham, 20, moved from Borussia Dortmund to Real in the summer and has scored 13 goals in 14 appearances.

This award comes after he was recognised as the best under-21 player in world football at the Ballon d'Or ceremony in October.

"I'd like to thank everyone who has been part of my journey so far at Birmingham, Dortmund and now Madrid. It wouldn't be possible without them," he said.

"Lastly and most importantly my family who give me the support and motivation and love every day to keep striving.

"Now I have this prestigious award I want to keep going. I want to keep pushing the limits of my potential and hopefully many more trophies to come."

Bellingham is the first English player to win the award since Raheem Sterling in 2014, when the Chelsea winger was at Liverpool.

Other notable winners include Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.

Manchester City striker Haaland was recognised this time by winning the Golden Player Man award.

It comes after the 22-year-old's stunning first season at the Premier League champions in which he scored 52 goals in 53 appearances.

Barcelona and Spain midfielder Aitana Bonmati received the Golden Player Woman award.

The 25-year-old won the Ballon d'Or last month and has received more recognition following a standout year in which she helped her club triumph in the Spanish top flight and Champions League, and her country win the World Cup in the summer.

Other awards given during the ceremony included Arsenal's sporting director Edu Gaspar winning Best European Manager and Brighton's Tony Bloom named Best European President.

Jude Bellingham scores again for Real Madrid in their 3-0 win at Cadiz

He goes past Cristiano Ronaldo's tally of 13 goals in his first 15 games
Jude Bellingham scored his 14th goal of the season as Real Madrid returned to the top of La Liga with a 3-0 victory at lowly Cadiz.

He now has the most goals by any Real Madrid player in their first 15 games.

The previous record of 13 was jointly held by Cristiano Ronaldo, Alfredo di Stefano and Pruden.

England midfielder Bellingham has 11 goals in 12 La Liga games and three in the Champions League since joining from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

Real went into the game two points behind Girona and took an early lead through Brazil forward Rodrygo.

The 22-year-old then doubled Real's lead midway through the second half.

Bellingham, 20, then continued his remarkable start to life in Madrid by firing home to seal Real's third straight win.

The Birmingham City youth product had a hand in the first goal, playing it wide to Rodrygo, who appeared to have run into a dead end inside the penalty area but managed to maintain possession and fire into the top corner.

Real lost forward Vinicius Jr to injury during the international break but fellow Brazilian Rodrygo has now scored in three straight games for Real for the first time since joining from Santos in 2019.

Luka Modric drilled a low strike against the foot of the post in the second half and moments later helped the ball on to Rodrygo, who cut inside before firing inside the far post.

Rodrygo then laid off to Bellingham in the left channel and the in-form Englishman fired a fine left-footed strike across goal and into the bottom corner.

Jude Bellingham: Real Madrid midfielder could face surgery to fix shoulder problem, says manager Carlo Ancelotti

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti remains confident Jude Bellingham is getting stronger every day from his shoulder problem - but feels surgery cannot be ruled out if the issue flares up again.

The England midfielder is enjoying a standout debut campaign with Los Blancos, having scored 15 goals so far in all competitions.

Bellingham, 20, had been sidelined ahead of the international break, missing England's final Euro 2024 qualifiers as he managed a dislocated shoulder.

After returning to club duties, the midfielder then picked up an ankle issue during the Champions League win over Napoli.

Bellingham has been doing some training sessions in the gym this week ahead of Saturday's LaLiga match at Real Betis.

Ancelotti moved to allay any fears over a serious setback, but accepts the club will have to monitor how Bellingham's shoulder responds to ongoing treatment alongside a hectic match schedule.

"Bellingham is working on his own because he still has to recover from the ankle injury he had against Napoli. He has recovered well," the Real Madrid coach said.

"The shoulder is something he has to look after to strengthen it on his own. He hasn't had any problem to play, and every day that goes by, he is improving in that sense."

Pressed if Bellingham might need surgery, Ancelotti told a press conference: "Not right now. The shoulder is very particular. If it happens again or keeps happening, maybe, but we will see."
