Yes they did not take wickets, but if someone has ACTUALLY watch the match today will agree that they played a huge role to restrict SA in limited score.

Their continuous yorkers disturbed SA to score. They put immense pressure.

Needless to say Hassan Ali, Imad and Hafez played well today but I see Junaid-Amir as the next pace face of Pakistan!

While this is sort of an overreaction, I must say I cannot disagree. Seriously did not expect Junaid Khan to bowl this well. Hopefully Amir can work with professional coaches in County and get his wicket-taking ability back. This duo will then surely be able to challenge anyone in the world. Not as of now, however.

I agree that on the whole 1.5 years journey has been dissapointing and alot more was expected but He could not deliver.

He is fine as of now but we badly need right armers. Lefties, imo, should just be used as a variation in pace bowling attack. Bulk of it should be right arm fast bowlers. Pakistan have over done the left armers in last 3 years. Right armers trouble more batsmen these days.

We'll take it as it comes. He's 27, he's not old. If you have a pace trio where the average age is 25 to 27, it's better than playing has-beens like Wahab, especially because they can actually bowl well.

It looks like the new model of bowling has been set. Dominate with the new ball as it's nice and hard, then bowl 60 yorkers at the death. Batsmen aren't capable of dealing with it. Since there's no reverse swing, it's all that can be done.
