I think the future of Pakistan test betting line up will be much better if we start including both Khan and Shan In place of Azhar and Fawad starting from our next test series and then investing couple of years in them to reap the rewards of it for next few years then continuing on with the Azhar and fawad.

The argument that Can get made for the seniors is that Azhar has scored ton of runs Not only in last 10 years but also he is the highest score for Pakistan In last 2 years. The argument that gets thrown for favod is he has had good 2021. But the other two batsmen have age on their side and potential to perhaps reach even higher ceilings than these two if we show some faith in them and start inducting them now instead of waiting another two to three year till we see Azhar and Fawad fail in multiple serieses.

IMO
Imam, Abdullah, KG/Shan, Babar, Shan/KG, Rizwan looks and feels much more like a test betting order that can challenge tier 1 teams on an ongoing and long term basis then the batting order including Azhar and Fawad. Especially when we are hoping that our betting line up can score **match result oriented/producing test runs** against a higher quality fastbowling.

Could well be time for that change, Shan certainly is knocking on the door. I am not sure about Ghulam inclusion. He does seem like a hard worker but is he Interntinal cricket material?

I would may be have Shan opening and Abdullah at 3.

Ghulam may be at 6 instead of Iftikhar when he gets selected for Test.

But we all know first to be axed will be Fawad at the first opportunity. Azhar has all backing from the board.

Pakistan don't need Shan Masood unless an opener fails. Shan scoring tons of runs in domestic but once he will be back in international cricket he will play like he always used to, 1 good knock out of 10 or 20.

Pakistani team needs Saud & Kamran in the middle order.
