Karachi need to lift themselves up or could well lose their chance of a top 4 berth to a rapidly improving Multan Sultans. As for Lahore Qalandars - 2 collapses in 2 games must be a worrying trend!

Both team are struggling now, Babar wicket is key, I feel its KKR batting vs LQ bowling,

Another thing shown by PZ, if you attack Aamir successfully in PP then the head gows down very quickly for kkr
 
I don’t understand how the Kings can leave Danish Aziz and Mohammad Haris on the bench. Imad is a decent T20 player but he throws off the whole balance of the team. This would be a way better playing XI if playing Imad Wasim wasn’t mandatory

NRR could be very crucial now. There's a plausible scenario of results where the final table looks like:

Islamabad - 16
Multan, Peshawar, Lahore, Karachi - 10
Quetta - 4

Of those 4 teams tied on 10 points, Karachi are the ones currently with the lowest NRR, thus would not qualify. Uphill battle for them, they need to win big.

Why do Lahore keep on playing Daniyal. That guy sucks and has gotten smacked all over in every game.

With this scenario LQ will be out as per you if they lose both match, There run rate will get worse.

Skipper needs to lead from the front and they need their big names like Babar, Sharjeel, Guptill and Amir to fire.

If babar was not on the KK team I'd definitely want them to loose due to Amir and imad
 
Must win match for the KK today. I believe they will give their best and still remain in contention to qualify for the Semis.

KK’s management of their young batsmen havent been great. Qasim Akram was dropped absolutely without any reason and now they have brought in Danish Aziz

Absolutely. Could not understand why qasim was dropped and mohammed haris also not given a game so far considering some of their batsmen havent performed. No youngster should be treated like that
 
Haris rauf is built like a chauta buffalo bull.No wonder he generates all his pace off his shoulder.
 
Guptil and Babar both are struggling to push the RR here. On a normal surface its a decent start but, considering what happened in the earlier match KK is behind.

LQ wanted to restrict KK around 160-170, I think its going as per their plan so far.

He's your strike bowler who bowls at pace and you need that in a team with his action it's not the easiest to keep economical. Certain pitches suit his style of bowling.

Yes the main aim of any bowler should be to take wickets and keep the runs in check. Pace is just a weapon which is good to have but, definitely not a necessity
 
Why was Imad batting ahead of Danish who is a proper middle order batsman? KK need to drop or trade Imad and get Babar to captain.
 
LQ would be happy with their effort. Still the job is only half done from them

Because Imad is not just a better and more accomplished batsman than the mental midget Danish Aziz, but also a vastly superior lower-order hitter. He's captain of Karachi Kings because he is a good captain who led them to the trophy last season. And he's there because the owners recognize all that.

I sure hope the match-referee reprimands Rauf for his bouncers and Shaheen for his machiavellian scheming. He was in Rauf's ear after nearly every ball.
 
Amir with 4 wickets in PSL 6 so far with economy of 8.63.

Sure he is lol

Danish Aziz in T20s: Batting average of 37.9 with a SR of 135

Imad Wasim in T20s: Batting average of 18 with a SR of 123.

While stats aren’t everything, such a huge discrepancy can’t be ignored.

As for his captaincy, he may not be the worst but his habit of overrating himself cost Karachi players like Usama Mir, Umer Khan and Abrar Ahmed. All three were vastly superior spinners but had to sit out because the captain has to play and bowl four overs.

Even in the season they won, Imad didn’t do much with the bat or bowl nor was his captaincy anything special that warrants putting up with his mediocrity. If Babar is good enough to captain Pakistan then I am sure he can handle Karachi as well.
 
Imad should open the bowling.
Beyond my understanding why he is afraid to bowl in pp considering he use to be one kf the top.
