It's not their fault to be honest - what 90% of PP can see, do you think PCB's top bosses (& technical people) can't see that? They have deliberately bottle necked the situation as such that there is no way to run 3 months before WC. In that mega Malik thread, you'll see me backing him for long, long - but absolutely no reason why PCB should have carried these 2 after CT win. The stage was set, now these oldies can earn good bucks from PLs & SLs ..... they should have been forced to retire or face humiliation of being water boy in squad - instead, team has been allowed to build around these two bang average player (that too at their prime, remember, with a remodeled action Hafeez isn't an all-rounder that was feared in UAE) at the most vital two spots.

I can cut Sarfraz some slacks because you don't sack your Captain after winning an ICC event, guy has suffered a massive fall in form but at least his Keeping has been satisfactory and he is not 40 either, but there should have been a succession plan at least. Being WK, if Sarfraz gets injured sometimes (or gets banned for over rate/mouth rate) - PCB's next resort is again MoHa/Mian!!!!!!
