Both Umaid Asif and Usama Mir have occasionally batted at #7. I think few years ago Usama Mir batted at #4/5 in some matches. Though I Can't recall the details.

So you've got an issue with Umer Khan being left out even though Karachi already have a left arm slow bowler in Imad and other spin options like iftikhar....

He's decent, especially given his age but from last year I've been hearing how he should be in the team. So many fans were selecting him for their Test squads.

He's young and could improve but at the moment, he is better than Nawaz but no where near Zafar Gohar in the left arm category.
