Zalmi should win this match comfortably if any of the two current wickets falls in the next 5 overs. Karachi have a weak middle order, would have relied heavily on Sharjeel who couldn't fire long enough and Alex Hales who couldn't play this match. Next few batsmen to walk in are simply Chadwick, Rizwan, Iftikhar, and Imad none of whom inspire batting confidence

What are you talking about? The team was 2 wickets down with a danger of collapse in the middle order except for Iftikhar. If you look past the superficial score, the team wasn't doing exactly well and promoting himself up the order was a brave decision to stabilize the innings and allow Iftikhar to finish the match, rather than a selfish one.
