Pretty impressive. Almost prefect bowling with tune in action.

Firing yorkers!! Bright future for india.

Royals brought him for 1.3 Crore.

He will be starting for India in the 2023 World Cup ahead of Shami. Watch him nail yorkers like Bumrah after some time in the IPL and the Indian team.

BCCI is so good at player development.

2023 world cup is England's to lose on the excellent batting tracks of India with a monstrous batting line up for flat tracks

Long way to go although he has potential but we have seen many such bolwers in U19 come and go.

He has the attitude of a fast bowler which is most impressive. Runs like one. J neber consider guys like Bhuvi true fast bowlers

Same was said about Nagarkoti and Mavi. Both of them are nowhere to be seen now. Indian bowlers are very fragile and injury prone.

KKR bought both of them after U19 WC and Nagarkoti kept on getting injured whereas Mavi got some chances but was very poor.

Mavi has a very good FC record. What are you talking?

Did well with the A team as well.

he is play for Rajasthan Royals in this year IPL where he get enough chance in playing 11

They are still around.

Waiting for their turn.

Mavi is not injured at all and is playing domestic. We dont fast track our young bowlers (no country apart from Pakistan does). Bowlers are more susceptible to pressure and need more maturing before coming into international teams. Most bowlers who debut at young age either lose their form, get injured or sometimes go astray like Amir. Shaheen is too young to lead a pace attack, most teams have bowlers in their 30s in tests

Indians like mamoon said the same thing for nagarkoti shivam avesh but they are nowhere to be seen now. U19 doesn’t prove jack players like Bumrah I don’t even think he was a star in u19 or even played u19 even shami.

Probably because Indian pace attack is already the best in the world and they are giving youngsters time to mature in domestic Cricket and take over in a couple of years?

Mavi and Avesh are playing FC and India A. Who told you they were nowhere in sight?

India's condition isnt desperate that we need to throw 20 year olds who are not fully matured into international cricket.

Secondly Bumrah and Shami are among top 3 bowling pairs in the world right now, so why break them up? Ishant is the third pacer in tests and he has done very well in last 3-4 years.

In LoIs the likes of Saini are ahead of Mavi Avesh Nagarkoti in the pecking order. In next 2-3 years their time will come.

None of these U19 kids should be fast-tracked in India or Pakistan team whatever their performance in this WC. They need 2-3 years of gruelling domestic season to groom them into men. It’s a recipe for disaster, exceptions excluded.

Pakistan has a fetish for teenagers players. I won’t be surprised if next year year, some Pak fans here may call Shaheen and that other bowler kid as too old compared to 2020 U19 world cup pacers. The India U19 players, incl Jaiswal and Tyagi, will not be anywhere around Kohli’s team till 2023 at least.

If Nagarkoti or Mavi were Pakistani, Shaheen and Hasnain would not be anywhere near Pak dressing room.

It’s difficult to get into Indian dressing room. Even Shaw and Gill are finding it difficult and are only substitutes for injured A Players.

What are you smoking? We admit Pak have poor batsmen, but the bowlers are fine. Shaheen is one of the best bowlers at senior level and you are insulting him by some nobodies at international scenes.

Mavi has lost his zip and looks very average. Nagarkoti has also not kicked since the U19 WC. It will be interesting what happens to Tyagi.

Despite all his achievements in the last 5-6 years, Ishant is still a meme in India. Not sure if this will be taken as a compliment or a taunt.

Mavi was out for more than a year, Nagarkoti for more than 2 years. The fear of the injury coming back, rustiness of such a long break...all of this will take time and support. Good thing they have that in abundance. Both will climb back into contention soon enough.

Mavi looks like a future trundler like Deepak Chahar. Nagakoti is already bowling in 130kph. Hype ruined them just like previous ones.

I know about Mavis injuries but its the change in the action that should be the worrying thing for him. Both looked destined to become top bowlers but now look like typical Ind medium pacers of yester year.

Mavi just started bowling from July- August coming from major back injury, you can't accept one to start bowling 145ks that soon, they will come good
Nagarkoti also coming out of long long injury layoff, is slowly getting into groove, hit 144ks couple of times or more just previous match,he has natural pace

Maybe Ben Stokes need to roll back and see what Lee used to bowl at when he was at his age

Er no he is not.. you have been away too long everyone recognizes his contribution to test cricket, they don't want him in LOI for obvious reaosns.

I sometimes don’t really understand why Ishant gets so much of hate from Indian fans. I was teenager when I saw him bowl to Ponting. I got so excited seeing a Indian fast bowler who was genuinely fast. Regulars less of how his career shaped up, he has always been a honest trier. Never had any issues with attitude. We are a nation who just loves to mock anyone who is better than us.

Ishant sharma v2 is a better test bowler than brett lee.

Better? Far better.

I wouldn't even take Shaheen who is Pakistan's best bowler over Ishant now in tests.

Ishant is better than Hazelwood and Starc too. Period. look at the stats from the 2015.

In a major blow to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), USA speedster Ali Khan’s side strain injury has sent his participation in the ongoing IPL 2020 into jeopardy. The Pakistan-born cricketer was signed as a replacement to injured English seamer Harry Gurney ahead of the tournament. Is induction into KKR made him the first USA cricketer to be signed by an Indian Premier League franchise.

On October 7, a media advisory from IPL confirmed Ali’s injury but did not provide any details.

IPL 2020, KKR vs CSK Live Score

“Khan became the first USA cricketer to be signed up by an IPL franchise. Unfortunately, Khan has since been injured and will miss the rest of the IPL 2020 season,” the statement read.

KKR CEO Venky Mysore asserted that KKR will back Khan while aslo adding that the right-arm pacer will remain with squad in UAE.

“While we are disappointed that he injured himself, KKR always does everything to take care of its players and therefore have asked him to stay on and are helping him with his recovery and rehab. Hopefully, he will recover fast,” Mysore told ESPNcricinfo.

The 29-year-old bowler grabbed the limelight back in 2018 when he Dwayne Bravo spotted him at the Global T20 Canada. Khan got a break in the Caribbean Premier League that and impressed with the numbers of wickets he secured - 16 wickets in 12 matches, the second-best among all the pacers in the league.

He continued his performance in this year’s CPL edition as well. He had picked up eight wickets in the tournament. Khan was yet to feature in an IPL 2020 game for KKR.

Speaking off Kolkata Knight Riders’ performance in the tournament, they have played 4 games so far and and won 2 of them. The Dinesh Karthik-led side will take on Chennai Super Kings in their next fixture on October 7 at Shekh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

This guy is extremely impressive.
A terrific run-up and an almost perfect bowling action from a technical standpoint.

He is a great example of how not only batsmen, but also bowlers in India get good coaching during their foundational years.

Compare that to Pakistan where every bowler in the circuit is laced with technical, run up or allignment issues.
These faulty techniques then lead to reduced pace, skill as well as inconsistent execution.

Anyway, all the best to Tyagi.
Eagerly waiting for the time he makes his debut.
A superb prospect.

I like this young man a lot, he is an exceptional talent. He is truly a natural fast bowler, his runup and delivery action almost perfect, without putting extra effort ,all rhythmic .

His athleticism is natural, but his action and run up are all because of excellent coaching.

His action is a great example of the modern methods of optimising pace and direction at play.

Where did you watch him?

Is he playing the Vijay Hazare trophy currently?

Playing for UP alongside Bhuvi.

Oh thanks, that's great.

Ishan Porel, Prasidh Krishna and Kartik Tyagi are the three bowlers I'm most looking forward to making their international debuts. I think Tyagi is a bit raw and needs at least 1-2 domestic seasons before he's international class, but Ishan Porel and Prasidh Krishna have been having some good form with the ball in the domestic circuit and I'm particularly very excited about Ishan Porel.
