Looks like West Indies have found themselves a strong middle order batter. Impressive start to his ODI career. This will be important going forward considering they have another good ODI batter in Shai Hope. Windies quietly building a strong ODI batting line up.

Been saying this for 2 years. They are building a good ODI side. They don't even have Rutherford playing this series.

Carty has very good range and scores all over. His previous ton against England also had similar range from memory.

Last 10 ODIs , 761 runs

Average: 95
Strike rate : 101

Pooran+Rutherford coming in will enhance them massively

Brandon King seems to be growing too.

He's a very good player who has been growing in stature. Flying under the radar because the runs are coming in bilaterals that nobody watches. I hope he sticks around and doesn't go chasing after T20 riches.

He is having a great start to his career.

Windies have talented players but they underachieve due to their players chasing T20 leagues.

A very good batsmen produced in a country thats otherwise going downhill

I expect him to ditch international cricket for T20 leagues (sadly).

Nicholas Pooran was also promising. He ended up retiring very early.

Windies players tend to put franchise cricket over national team.
