I have seen a lot of him playing in our domestic league. The guy can give the ball a 'real rip' on turning wickets.

What makes Imran dangerous is his variety. Maharaj gets good turn but lacks variety

I was a little surprised too when I saw Keshav ahead of Immi today but cricket south africa have confirmed that Immi Tahir was ruled out due to a hamstring injury. If he doesn't recover in time he could be doubtful for the first game against Sri Lanka on saturday.

Maharaj is a good bowler but as of now Immi should be playing aheaf of him, I also think Tabraiz Shamsi will be in the frame too going forward along with maharaj.

Tahir in LO and Maharaj in tests. Tahir shouldn't lose his place in Odis just yet, but got to say Maharaj has looked impressive when I have seen him bowl.

Tahir is already South Africa's greatest LO spinner. Maharaj is a good player all-round (athletic in the field and not useless with the bat) but not at Tahir's level.
