What is the injury??

This is pathetic from PCB. Those corrupt Sethis and Sharyars can spend millions on their travels but providing on-duty medicos or even an ambulance is too much off a hassle for them.

Should sue the PCB for negligence.

Disgraceful situation. Hate to say it but this event and the PIA air crash show how little value is placed on life in the subcontinent at times.

Oh my, hope he recovers swiftly.

Appalling arrangements at the ground, there should always be a doctor present at any first-class match especially after Phil Hughes tragedy.

The PCB are ridiculously unprofessional, wishing him a speedy recovery.

Apparently a serious shoulder injury.

What about department? It's not PCB duty to provide physio/doctor, even in international matches every team bring their own physio or doctor... ICC doeant provide physio

PCB's duty is to have an ambulance or medical emergency personals available at the ground

Physio should be of the team, that i agree with you.

Recently Misbah, Asif and some other guys were playing some chartiy games at Norway, and from the pictures i saw that an ambulance was available at the ground.

Even the recent Lahore Qalander trials that were held. They had an ambulance in the ground.

Sorry guys, tough luck, PCB has no money left to spend on medical care of players. Whatever money they had, already spent on someone's heart bypass and it was a huge bill as they prefer to do it in England , although it could have been done in Pakistan.

Shameful stuff.

PCB officials wasting millions but cannot sort out an ambulance or doctor for a national final.

Good to know He is alive.

Injury at a wrong time. Last year He was amongst top wicket takers in one day cup and also scored runs. Needed another top One Day Cup performances as allrounder.

Poor stuff, had the injury been more serious, this could have been the difference between life and death!

If true then this is ridiculous. When I played American football at uni we literally couldn't start the game without an ambulance present.

Not condoning this incident, but football is more of a contact sport and chances of injury are a lot higher.

Also I took you more for a UK poster than an American poster.

I am in the UK but I've tried my hand at all kinds of sports. Not fair to write something off as being a complete waste of time for all involved without having given it a proper go first.

Very unfortunate event and ridiculous for the organizers not to have proper medical facilities at the ground. An injured player being transported on a bike? Ridiculous.

How do they expect spectators to fill in the stadium if they can't even take care of the players?

Well I put what I know in my tweet, in that this guy was in agony and there was no ambulance, physio or doctor there. Poor guy then had to be taken to hospital on a motorcycle.

I asked one of the players about it and he said the board etc don't give a damn about the welfare of the players.

I feel for the players out there:( but i wanted to ask what moghul was saying about heart bypass story?

Is he injured again ?

He had been replaced by Zia ul Haq who wasn't in the PC initially.
