Sami gets himself cramped up because of exagerrated across movement of front foot. I think a good batting coach can help him in this regard.

i think the best opening pair was of Shehzad and Fakhar as they were consistent. Khurram and Sami were good for 2 matches and then bad for the other 2 matches so consistency is the key.

Fakhar Zaman can be the best left handed opener for pak after Salman Butt. But he needs to work on his off side. Seeing him first time on tv i personally feel he struggles to guide the ball to third man area for single against pacers and vs spin he looks bit unbalanced and predetermined which may backfire him against spinners at international level. I might be totally wrong but this is what my personal analysis is after seeing first time batting live.
