The Big Sick is his main movie and it was nominated for Oscars as well for the screenplay I think. You need to watch it and support Pakistani artists in Hollywood.

Riz is clearly better actor but Kumail has his space as well..

Kumail is not consistently funny , he can’t play the same cards all the time, needs to reinvent himself if not will get lost in time like kal penn

Riz is a British Pakistani. I don't think he ever lived in Pakistan but he keeps on going there and raised awareness for Kashmir as well so I like that. He's a much better actor and singer.

I think you need to watch more of his videos and interviews. There is not even a single video of him during which I didn't laugh.

For example, this video where the interviewer is terrible but he still manages to counter the ignorance of the host and makes it funny.

Will check it out. I was planning to start watching Silicon Valley after Mr Robot and i just noticed Kumail is in Silicon Valley so i guess i will get to know more about his skills. Faran Tahir although is not really that good but somehow he always end up getting roles in big-budget movies like Iron Man, Star Trek, Escape Plan etc

It gets better with each season, only really frustrating thing is them always almost making it only for something to come up. The to and fro/rivalry between Dinesh and Gilfoyle gets funnier and funnier, also there is the Bachman/Yang thing, the Gavin Belson character (makes me think what Elon Musk would actually be like), Donald Dunn character and many more.

He was disowned by his own parents for a period of time when he married the gori. If his own parents didn't understand or like it why do you think other Pakistanis would like something that was based on the whole incident.
