Quetta will need to get back to their winning ways, as would Lahore so expect a tough fight this evening.

Good news for LQ

Rashid Khan has arrived and available for selection for this game.

They still need a batsman. Rashid will only replace Dawson

He's a good batter also - should be able to get 20-30 runs in quick time towards the end of the innings

No hasaranga for QG bowling dependent on hasnain and Naseem . Nawaz been poor . Overall lack of quality in QG apart from few

I have a feeling that this is a big game for Nawaz.

He was been off form lately and there are others pushing for his place in the Pakistan side.

Bad decision to bowl first v LQ

I would much rather bat first and put a score on the board instead of chasing against Shaheen, Rauf and Rashid Khan

They have been crap batting first . Good to bowl finally

Who is this Baig geeza never seen him..never heard of him...dont think he has played domestic.

Talat H has lost his way, was a promising cricketer few sasons ago. Tahir looks good. As for Kamran maybe this is not the right format for him, but he is a talented and sensible batsman.

I see not talent in Kamran Ghulam in fact possibly struggles the most among local batters so far in PSL. Looks like he hasnt faced this quality of bowling before and needs a lot of time to re-adjust. But dont see any natural tallent.

Ya he's perfect for LQ as they have so many anchors so if he can get 30s at good rate regularly he would suit the team combo

Naseem surely has regressed as a new ball bowler..

Also Hasnain’s prblem has always been his consistency in performances.. lets hope he makes a good comeback in his second spell

Nawaz is sort of turning out to be flop of the season.
With Imad doing really well, he really needs to pick up his game.

why would saifi not try Ifti when every bowler is going for runs is beyond me

Lahore suddenly looks much stronger with Rashid Khan in the side…

QG batting can’t get this . Shaheen Harris and rash too much to cope

Too many runs on the board

Guptil or Roy needs to score a ton I recon

I pray for the day when one of these Pakistani captains grows a pair and opts fo bat first after winning the toss!

I don't like criticising youngsters too much but Bangalzai has got to be one of the worst players to ever play in the psl

I think he gets a long rope because he is from Quetta. Would have been better if they took Haseebullah from Zalmi and give him a chance

Have they nobody to replace him? Extremely surprised Basit Ali from JPL wasn't picked up by anybody

Bangalzai and Haseebullah are cut from the same cloth, both tuk tuk batsmen with no power game and no dynamism. Haseebullah may at least become a semi-decent red ball player, Bangalzai is just embarrassing himself at this level

Basit Ali was pretty poor in the Bangladesh U19 series that followed the PJL and then the U19 domestic tournament as well I think. Anyways no PJL player has the class to play PSL yet, Arafat Minhas and Aimal Khan are both still warming the bench

Quetta's batting line up feels just washed up. A few years ago, the batting line up would have been stacked. Guptil, Roy, Sarfraz, Umar Akmal, Hafeez, Iftikhar all in their prime.

If so then why are they hyped so much? I am sure I have seen dozen of posts here praising these two as the next big things of PAK cricket. If you don't possess power, dynamics or innovation then how are you supposed to flourish in this era? Along with these two, I see guys like Shafique/Kamran being hailed & honesty it confuses me if PAK cricket lives in an alternate timeline or what!

Was surprised QG stuck with him. He has been in torrid form internationally. Created some sort of record with single digit scores last year.

Roy did well in the SA odis but ya in t20 he was poor

Rauf has been garbage ever since his place as been secure in the team.Need to be dropped for a couple of series so he gets his intensity back.

Brainless haris needs to be thrown out of Pakistan odi team too. Provide nothing other then brainless bowling.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. That's what Roy is showing here. Just another proof of the massive difference between ENG & PAK cricket. Even the most out of form batsman can bully 90+ bowlers for fun.
