What's new

Lahore Qalandars beat Karachi Kings by 22 runs in 6th match of PSL 4

Haris is the real deal...

Even Kohli appreciated him if I’m not wrong.

Hasan Ali might be in trouble if Harris keeps performing.

This is like when Shaheen announced himself last year against Multan Sultans.

Haris

That to dismiss Sohail was probably the best wicket of the lot. Late movement at pace, shatters the stumps, Waqar-esque.

Wasim must be proud yaarrrr.

Doing it in front of a living legend.

Wow. Kid is bowling quick and bowling at fuller length/yorkers. Feels like something we haven't seen in Pakistani bowlers in a while.

144, if guy can even ball 4 over spells like this at international level it would be really good for Pak

No hattrick but glad Harris performing while Mickey is watching.

Nice to see anger and aggression of this lad. Looks like on a misson

On top of that he performed in PSL so finally Inzi knows of his existence now

We're likely not gonna see Rauf in the World Cup, but pretty sure after a season of domestic cricket he'll be fast-tracked. Definitely a lot of upside in the youngster.

Could be our Bumrah?

Not sure as Bumrah is probably the best bowler across formats, even if he can ho half way what Bumrah has achieved would be awesome.

Yorkers are surely there.

The young pacer I also really want to see is Arshad Iqbal.

If we're to compete in places like Australia and SAF we desperately need a tall quick who hits the deck hard.

Wish he gets an opportunity.

Was unlucky to miss out in PSL, still 21st pick LQ is remaining I guess so you never know. :inzi2

After seeing Rauf’s spell, other bowlers look slow

he's performing as good as any other pakistani bowler but his fitness is a question

5 balls that the speed gun registered in Haris Rauf's 4th over 148kph 139kph 146kph 144kph 144kph

Australia series would be good to test some potential players for WC

Rizwan also played a part in this victory. Coming at 1 down and dragging that run a ball innings

The talking between Amir Sohail and M Hayden really tells you how rarely Pakistan see a good talent.

M Hayden seems very calm and talking facts and right things.

Meanwhile Amir Sohail is very hyped up.

Rizwan wasn't expected to show any brilliance but what about Babar Azam who is a platinum pick & ranked #1 T20 batsman?

More of just their personalities.

Yup. Hayden be like what the fuss is about.

Great win for LQ. Rauf looks to be a talent. If he carries this on, he will be in the next ODI squad.

No. 1 ranked batsman also have a one off game.

That off day (or whatever you call it) actually cost the match. Don't expect anything good from Rizwan & Bopara, their selection in the squad is questionable, as they aren't capable of playing at T20 strike rate.

My MOTM is LQ owner Rana Fawad. He is the unsung hero behind players like Fakhar Zaman, Salman Irshad and Haris Rauf who he backed, esp. Rauf and Irshad.

Rauf would've been destroyed by our pathetic system if not for LQ. They not only picked him and others in trials but sent them to Australia and play grade cricket there to improve their skill and pumped in more money to ensure they play competitive tournaments across the globe.

LQ was at the bottom of the PSL group most of the 3 years not giving Rana Fawad any positive results. But he remained resolute and continued his talent clinics from Punjab to KPK and Azad Kashmir to pick up talent who can one day represent Pakistan and one of those players proved him right in the most extraordinary way.

A no. 1 batsman can't win you every match on its own. He also needs support from other players some times.

Karachi lost the match the moment they let the required run-rate creep up. It looked foolish as they´d neither lost too many wickets up fronts. Either way, congratulations to Lahore. They´re finally on the points board, and sweet it must´ve felt to overcome their rivals. They bowled well.
