Lahore Qalandars beat Quetta Gladiators by 8 wickets (with 49 balls to spare) in 21st match of PSL 5

Fans here are complaining about the pitch. It has been covered for the last 24 hours because of rain, and it is cold pitch which is what waqar said if its like this then in lahore it’s become a turning pitch. Nothing can the curator can do to make it flat. Its not LQ fault that QG played like school kids
 
Sohail khan still carried quetta to a respectable total. Qalnadars would’ve folded to 60 all out

Hafeez not completing 4 overs and Fakhar not bowling
 
Good shot from Fakhar. LQ doesnt seem to be in much trouble
 
The captain opens with himself when the target is low. Pure besharam behaviour

Naseem is exceptional as its a rarity that a young pacer can move it both ways with a speed of 145kph.

Hasnain has some good traits but still has quite a few things to learn to be a complete bowler.
 
The shot Fakhar played shows what is wrong with Pak batting- the thought process. He murdered Hasnain and played super foolish back foot cut shot on a wicket which is turning while the ball was not so short...
 
so Aqib appointed this hack as captain? very wise I must say...
 
Lahore is extracting the Qalandar out of my Fantasy team:( Picked Shaeen for 3 games, he had a hiding, made Lynn Captain, he got first ball duck, today picked Dilbar for Shaheen .... carried Samit for 3 games, then replaced with Dunk today .......... today, picked 8 of the 11 from IU & QG :( :(

2018 year, I ended among top 100 in IPL global, but PSL is always something bluffs me - some of the players performing outrageously beyond any logic in either extreme.
 
This guy, MoHa has an outstanding quality - when in middle, he can create a panic situation for any target!!!!!

People bashes Misbah for Mohali 2011, but the biggest culprit was MoHa - somehow managed to get out to something bowled by Munaf Patel, after batting for 12 overs, when opening bowlers were replaced, fielding was spread-out and the asking was lower than current rate and his partner had been out previous over. That brought two wonderful ODI batsmen by the name of YK & Asad Shafique in middle, and both on zero together...... against a captain named MS Dhoni. It was a brilliant rear guard action from Misbah that PAK reached within a touching distance (before Umar was out, DRS was probably in PAK's favor), otherwise IND would have won by 60+ margin that day.

I know ball is turning miles, but sarfraz is looking lost behind the wickets.

Having played years in the UAE you would think he could keep on a turning pitch.

260 was chaseable , and that too Pakistan with Pakistan bowling and fielding poorly. Pakistan could have easily restricted India to 235 - 240.

Apart from that , Afridi and Razzak were batting way down the order , should have promoted one of them at least .
 
LQ havent been troubled as much till now and not as many puzzled faces as QG batsmen had

His focus on keeping is the last thing in this game. Which is said because as much as he wants to do things shout and makes bowling changes. 99 was not going to be a challenging total in this pitch.
 
Zahid had a first class bowling average of 101 in this season :))
 
I wonder why Sarfraz preferred Hasnain over Sohail in this game with the ball. The pitch is turning and we have LQs pcarrs getting good assist from the pitch by bowling cutters. Sohail certainly bowls cutters.
 
Bazid sounds very unnatural and weird trying to appear hyped up in his monotone and slurry voice.

It wasn't easy actually - see it other way, PAK bowled (started) absolute rubbish and fielded even worse, then was hard done by DRS, which was later pulled back by Wahab. Otherwise net, net - that Indian line-up struggled to reach 260 despite that sort of fielding, which suggests it wasn't an easy wicket and PAK was chasing. ONLY, only way PAK or any team could have chased that target on that track against India was a daddy innings (80+ at least), by one of the top 3. Kamran gave PAK ideal start, and MoHa should have been the guy - he had done the hard work as well, just needed to show guts to sticking around and bat through 40th over. Afridi & Razzak batted later should have been an advantage - think about a situation of 147/3 after even 36 overs - 114 at 8+ rate for last 14 with Afrdi, Razzak, Umar in and one set batsman guiding the chase!!!!
 
Massive win for LQ. QG in big trouble now as they have lost their 2 games against a side that everyone else is winning
 
Hafeez thrives on chasing low scores like this , a little bit pressure , this midget mind would succum .
 
According to the table after this match;Multan, Karachi & Peshawar should go through,so only 1 slot is vacant. Who'll it be? Islamabad and Quetta have very few matches left, and if Lahore can manage to win 4/5, they can get in playoffs
 
M Hasnain is the worse bowler I hve ever seen hes Wahab Riaz 2.0.

We overrate our bowlers. We have Shaheen who is decent to start in any team in the world. However, the only worldclass bowler we hve currently is Naseem.

Hasnain, Musa and few others have a long way to go to work on lengths
