Lahore Qalandars knock Peshawar Zalmi out of PSL 2020 with five-wicket win in first Eliminator

That’s what happens when you have an inexperienced keeper, imam should have clocked the edge and atleast tried to appeal
 
LQ is the current ManU of PSL, must have a Woodward managing their affair - this guy Faizan is probably picked as emerging, with a batting stats of 4/47 (Avg/SR), I guess he is a bowler .... but didn't bowl today.

One more batsman, even emerging batsman, they could have been favorites now with MoHa & Dunk set.
 
Zalmis ground fielding has been attrocious so far.

Good to see that Rahat Ali's fielding is as bad as it ever was.

Malik needs to come on, all looking to easy for Hafeez and dunk at the moment, balls skidding away from the dew.
 
This guy Dunk has unreal ability to hit - he can clear sight screen with top hand flicks. LQ are winning probably - 9/over isn't a big deal in T20 for 10 overs.
 
That late cut from Hafeez gives me an amazing sensational feeling.

You can feel Ben Dunk is warming up just like Goldberg used to take his time getting into the arena with his epic entrance.

Lol Goldberg wasn't the type to warm up you'd get 2, 3 minutes out of him max.

Agreed. Imam keeping in ODIs would open up an extra middle order slot. In T20s, I consider Imam equivalent to Rizwan as middle order batsman so not much of a difference there
 
Wahab needs to bring in Saqib and try to get an economical over through followed by another over by himself. They need to get the run rate required to over 10 to have a chance here

Long, long, long back Sadiq Muhammad was a right-handed middle order batsman and he had 1 or 2 FC hundreds as right-hander .... but his elder bros realized that in PAK team only scope Sadiq had was an opener's role, that too if as a lefti as there was no one in domestics. So, Sadiq started practicing as left-hander and on second FC season debuted for PAK. Yes, his elder brother was Captain & immediate senior bro was vice Captain, but the idea did help.

I won't mind if imam makes it as WK in T20s - that effort & intelligence deserves a reward.

If he is willing to work on his keeping and can improve, I'm sure he can improve his batting

Will need more games for judge if he is an option for keeping.

This Imran guy looked like he could tonk the ball and now he also has a bit of pace about him. Has the attitude of Tewatia. Decent find

Wiese hasn't really lit up the world with his bat apart from his exploits in SA domestic tournaments.
 
The amount of time this game is taking is ridiculous. Useless delays all round.

Sammy is past his best. Wahab is not going to captain Pakistan. I would like to see Imam captain PZ next season. He has shown an attitude to improve and has shown he has a brain by working on his keeping.

I'm confident Babar will work out but it's nice to have a back up option in case he doesn't and Shadab isn't ready to step up.
 
Loved the interaction right there with Malik/Imam/Wahab and Ramiz on the field in the middle of the game! :))
 
I dont understand,

If you bowl this kind of Pace then how hard is it to learn how to swing the ball like Sandeep Sharma or Deepak Chahar?
