Been saying he's our second best batsman in LOI period for years! People hate on him because he struggles against outswing. Well news flash there's no more swing left in LOI, even Kohli looks like Amir or Andersons bunny when the balls moving around. Heck look at how Bairstow, Morgan, Butler, etc look like in tests with a hint of movement, and those guys can't even play spin. Hafeez in modern day cricket is as good a batsman as we have in Pakistan for LOI. I wouldn't say he's better than Bobby though just because Babar's so consistent he needs to work on his power hitting though, Hafeez should teach him the art, Hafeez hardly ever tries to muscle pacers for six he just times it for six. His timing is the best in Pakistan, probably even better than Babar's. He just screwed himself by playing as an opener because of his weakness against swing, had he always played at 4/5 he would be Pakistani great imo, he can do it all.

Even still if you watch him he still times the ball with such ease, if you watch him try and attack the pacers he doesn't foolishly try and muscle the ball like Babar, he just times the ball with ease and hits sixes with ease against pacers.
