Lahore Qalandars should pick Salman Butt and make him the captain

LQ should pick Salman Butt and make him the captain of the side. He has been in exceptional form in domestics and has led WAPDA extremely well. I didn't know about WAPDA team but after Salman became the captain, They are always either winners or runner ups in QEA and List A tournament. He's a stable opener and him and Fakhar could make interesting opening partnership and all over that he's a real Lahore who has played his whole cricket here and lived here for his whole life.

Salman Butt was never really a special T20 player. He carries a lot of baggage anyways and teams may continue to ignore him.

You don't make someone a captain who doesn't make the team on merit. But Pakistan don't learn from there mistakes . And our fanbase seem to be learning from the management.

Better to use other youngsters who can play the format. Rizwan did good for them last year, why not promote him up the order. Get a player to play single double in the middle order now that they can have abdv.

Captain of our test team in 2010 and still involved himself and 2 other players not to mention a young generational type bowler in a fixing scandal. He knew what he was doing and should be punished for it by not being anywhere close to the PSL or International cricket.

Vice captain from last year, guessing he learnt something under Baz’s captaincy to further develop on his own experiences
Also a guaranteed starter, so he should be made captain
