Performance vs LQ should be taken with Truck load if salt. Like moeen bhai getting those two free wickets.
 
only consolation is atleast we start all guns blazing and go down like that as well, maybe a cool down period is what we really miss along with some common sense.

He is the person I want to fail the most this PSL. Because only a catastrophic failure can stop him going to the World Cup where he will be an undeniable disaster/ thin Pakistan’s chances.

Hafeez will need a very big performance in this league to maintain his place in the Pakistan team.
 
Pitch is decent for spinners by the looks of it. Kudos to LQ management for only having Hafeez as the option. :faf
 
lahore were 60 after 6 overs and the next 6 overs has rather been an issue i would say...
 
Why is anybody surprised? Lahore will eternally be last as as they stay with this team management.

They needed reinforcements in the batting department? The bowling should not be an issue with Shaheen, Haris and Shinwari, supported by Hafeez and Weise. The batting is laughable to say the least :))
 
If lahore doesnt show anything substantial in this season than Pcb should take an action against the management of LQ. They are hurting the league's image.

Sohail akthar is pure hack. He seems rushed while playing pacers and his head akways falls.
 
Zeeshan Ashraf hasnt been too bad with the gloves. If he can bat well in PSL then you ever know

Yes, I'm sure the owner of the second-most expensive franchise would love to be told how to run his team after it was bought for $25.1 million.

The PCB should should start dictating things.

I'm sure the owners of the other teams would love the precedent that would set.

But it's alright, there will still be lines of companies willing to dish out millions and millions for teams.

Hafeez with his usual rubbish .. he is like a leech who sucks all the blood ( here Hafeez as usual can sucks all the momentum sent this guy at any situation he will do the same)
 
This Pitch looks double pace. I think 150 and we have game on. Again Shahen and rauf it will be difficult.

All this comedy aside, looking forward to watching Lahore's potent pace bowling attack. Shaheen, Haris and Shinwari offer a lot of pace and promise.

Should take the franchise out of their hands and reauction it. I am sure someone will definitely be interested in buying the franchise of a strong and wealthy city like Lahore.
 
I think PCB should put quality control check on a team's management and their performances after every 5 years.

While the franchise value is much higher then when PSL started like most others, PCB cant ignore legal contracts. Unless LQ owners dont fulfil their commitments there is no legal way to take the team from them.
 
I will be surprised if LQ manage to wing a single game. Absolutely horrible batting side.

As per Cricbuzz he is a 33 years old dude who never debuted in any of the format for Pakistan. And now playing joke of an innings.
 
Aqib is a joke. Team selection is a joke. Retaining failures. Lahore needs to get their selection right, its only a first game.

Karachi have Babar, Sharjeel, Amir

We have Hafeez, Sohail Akhtar (a nobody) and some random foreigner

Does any Lahori actually care about LQ PDP? They can produce 1000 more Haris Rauf but I won’t care unless they perform well
 
Has LQ ever finished above last in PSL? Their management was a bit exposed when they had like 12-13 1st picks in draft ..... then ended up playing Dinesh Ramdhin at 4. Now, Shaheen is batting at 8, which should be good for him - at least some contribution by LQ for PCT.

Yeah thats a problem. Like ARK rafay just said atleast their should be a quality control check. This franchise is making psl less watchable and very frustrating
 
Lahore owner is a joke as well. The guy as we call in Punjabi thaala laga houa of Aqib. What does he see in aqib i dont get it. We need a professional coach, like Mohd Wasim.
